@libby Thank you so much. 🙂 I’m so glad you could relate to it! (I know what you mean!) I was reading a book on writing by Gail Carson Levine and came upon her two triolet examples that were really cool. (I’ll post them.) I was inspired to try it.
I loved your poem!! You definitely have a gift for word choice. 🙂

@emma-starr Neat! I’ve never heard of the triolet rhyming scheme, but now I want to try it. 🙂
I haven’t finished a poem in the past week, only started one (and it’s getting some what long) but I’ll tag some poets who might have: @libby @h-jones @kb-writer

@libby *blushes* Jane of Lantern Hill is one of her best!! It covers the shortest amount of time of all her books. I love it. Jane is also quite young, about 11 or 12.
Isn’t L.M. Montgomery so…quotable? It seemse like every line she writes is worth its own page with illustrations (or maybe her words are enough themselves!)
This is one of my…[Read more]

Hi, Guys! So I am helping a friend of mine edit a short story. But the problem is, I don’t really know how to help edit. I mean, I think I know the basics, but I don’t want to critique too much. Any tips?

@libby This is really nice. It has a very strong, anthem feel. Your language reminds me of German mixed with Latin. It’s cool.

Character introductions are very important in a book. What kinds of things do we need to remember when we are working on the beginning of our WIPs? K.M. Weiland has a few in her book, Structuring Your Novel that I’m going to share with you today.

@libby These were my favorite lines:
“Her elfin glance will always haunt me; she will never leave me alone; but I can never step inside her magic world. My shadow puts out her light…we can never become friends.”
Perfection, Libby!! Those lines describe my life after I first read L.M. Montgomery and describe me still.

@libby What is the story you’re talking about? I read some of your above comments, and I’m intrigued! Is there a way for me to read it? 🙂 🙂
As a fellow Montgomerian, I can definitely relate to looking up to her characters like Valancy, Emily, Pat, and Anne (and sometimes trying to imitate them!).

Hello!
I’m wondering if I can get some ideas and tips on a poem I wrote. It is a wild experimental poem when I had an idea centering around a Weeping Willow and thought “why don’t I make it full of alliterations”
