Hi, all! So, I was advised to add stronger images in my prologue. So- I changed it! I wanted a few opinions on how this one sounds compared to the first prologue…

I am hearing silent screams
From children with no choice.

Chloe covered her mouth with her hands. The bear grunted. Birds flapped through the air. The elephant swung its trunk, as frogs hopped around, with a bald eagle gliding through the sky above. A venomous black serpent wrapped itself around Nicholas’s arm.
“What a surprise!” Nicholas laughed. “You’re so awed, but this is merely a little of my col…[Read more]

Hey fellow HFers, I’m feeling chatty so I’m going to start a conversation. No promises on finishing it though, lol. 😉
What has been the worst historical fiction book you’ve ever read and why? Was it the theme, or lack there of? Modern characters stuffed into the past? Too much fiction that it changed the history?
We all know how hard it is to…[Read more]

*stares back* Yep, that is very true. And yeah, we are both ahead, in diff respects. Many diff respects. XD
Lol, yes, I agree with you. XD
That is hilarious! I can totally see that, though. And there are so many cool and intriguing things about that era + the Romans. 🙂

@myclipboardismyviolin Where did you go? Did I ask too many questions or did you just leave for a while?
Anyway, unless you tell me to stop asking questions, I’ve got another one. I’ve tried to move past the other questions I asked since you weren’t answering them, but I keep finding more. The antagonist I created is much more solid, emotionally.…[Read more]

So apparently there’s a prompt war happening right now.
But I somehow missed the message Daeus sent the guildmaster group and didn’t realise until now.
Hello yes I am apparently a scatterbrain.
Long story short: prompt war is happening between July 15 – 29, the prompt is to write a mystery.
BUT since I so skillfully missed this altogether,…[Read more]

Cool! I love researching/reading about every era and place, as well. @ashira‘s ahead of me with the Greek/Roman side of writing, though. XD Most of my many WIP’s seem to end up around a historical event or war, whether modern or medieval. 🙂
Hey! Yes, I love the word, too. XD I think @seekjustice…[Read more]

@k-a-grey: Thank you! And thanks for the tip- I’ll try re-writing that prologue with some stronger images.
@kayla-skywriter: Yes, I’d love to read it! I’ve always wanted to write my own STORY about abortion, but seems I can only write fiction stories and poems come more naturally for this stuff. So… yeah- please!
