@gabriellepollack I agree with Jen about the second font choice. 🙂👍🏻 The black ones would probably be the best choice because they’d stand out against Pinterest’s white backdrop.
One suggestion for the booklet—you might want to put a black mask over the picture to make the words pop more (or if you already have a mask over it, adjust the opaci…[Read more]

You’re welcome! I’ve been jealous too at times, wondering why other writers were succeeding and I wasn’t. I forget God has my future in His hands and will give me what I need in His timing. 🙂
Another angle that’s easy to forget is that the grass always looks greener on the other side; one author may look very successful even though in reality…[Read more]

@lillian-parks03 Yes! That one is definitely better! Keep up the good work! 👍🏻
@the-fledgling-artist No offense taken! 🙂 There are loads of different methods for drawing/painting and what works for one artist might not work for another. Btw, love that brown-haired girl in the purple shirt. 👍🏻

Mariposa Aristeo replied to the topic No villain? in the forum Characters 8 years ago
@zanzibee I would agree that it’s perfectly okay for a story not to have a villain. Inside Out and Disney’s Cars for example had no villain—but they had character conflict—and that’s more important than having a bad guy. 🙂
Here are a couple articles you might find helpful on the subject:…[Read more]

@raemarie My favorite dinosaur book is Dinosaurs: Marvels of God’s Design by Dr. Tim Clarey. 🦖🦕 It’s the most informative dinosaur book I’ve ever read. Best of all, it’s written from a creationist perspective. 😃

Mariposa Aristeo replied to the topic Help! Hair Crisis Alert! in the forum Art Critique 8 years ago
@lillian-parks03 I think something that might help you to make the hair look more natural is to add little flyaways like a real person would have. 🙂 Also, shading can help make hair look more realistic.
Another thing that might help is making the hair strands as thin and numerous as possible (make sure your pencils are sharpened to a fine…[Read more]

@a_small_mousepad Cool! I’ve always wanted to visit the Creation Museum sometime. 🦕🦖🙂
That’s exciting! I’m too introverted to ever go on stage (I score 88% introverted on the personality test 😅). Do you have a favorite play?

Any poem with butterflies is automatically a favorite in my book. 😍🦋 I really loved the line, “People glow when they speak and smiles are forest fires.” ❤️❤️❤️
Thank you for transporting me to a universe of loveliness like you always do!
