I have a friend that recently started the 4th book without reading the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd… I told her too… She just sent me an email saying that she is not getting into it easily. I can TOTALLY see why! LOL

Oh, it’s hard to pick a favorite character from Little Women…but I can’t help loving Jo, and Laurie. I think that’s half the charm of the story, every character is so relatable and lovable in their own way.😊

Yes, the ending was so good. It left me with all the right feels. 😁Actually Fawkes is the first one book of hers that I’ve read. I have Romanov on hold at my library though, so I’m looking forward to reading it!! How about you?

I actually just finished Fawkes for the first time, and I have to put that on my list. I agree with you about how Nadine Brandes added complexity to her plot and characters to make it feel realistic, instead of the basic cut and dry bad guys vs good guys. Definitely an inspiration.…[Read more]

Actually, I don’t write mysteries, but in the near future, I have been inspired to do so 😛

It takes a LOT of planning (more than would other books) to write mysteries though, that’s why I haven’t yet.

I just read a series of books called The Mysterious Benedict Society by Trenton Lee Stewart.

I have really loved the way he writes and also (FYI, these books are kind of mystery books), Trenton Lee Stewart opens up so many strings in these books and by the end of each book, each one has been resolved and he NEVER leaves you…[Read more]
