Hey, I know we haven’t officially met on SE, but I was reading the premise of peoples’ novels (just to see what the young authors of the world are cooking up 😛 ) and I came across yours. I must say, as someone whose family has fostered and adopted, I did not only connect with it extremely well (it sounds identical to our story…[Read more]-
Aw, wow, thank you so much!! <3 I'm so glad! That's really cool that your family fosters and adopts too! My older sister is adopted. 🙂 What are your experiences with fostering?
And it's so nice to meet you!
(Also, were you able to read it the book?)-
That’s awesome! Two of my younger sisters are, too. 😀 I guess my experiences are something along these lines: We first were placed with the youngest of four siblings who had all been removed that night. Eventually we also took the youngest’s older sister, the second youngest, who had been almost equally neglected at her foster home as she had…[Read more]

Hey, sorry for the late reply!
That is SO cool that you were able to adopt them! <3 It must be so exciting!
Well, the reason we started fostering was because my parents thought they couldn't have kids, so they decided to foster. They fell in love with the girl who came! Then I was born, and when I was two years old (and she was five) we finally…[Read more]-
Oh, you’re totally fine. I get it; life’s pretty crazy.
Thank you! We really are! <3
That's so awesome! It's such a sweet testimony. Would you like me to pray as well about your foster sister? I understand the feeling, though. We almost adopted a Native American baby, but his tribe wouldn't let him get adopted, and he moved to a different foster…[Read more] -
That would be awesome if you could pray for her! Thank you!
Aw, that’s so sad you weren’t allowed to adopt him. I wish things were different. <3
Haha yessss! I know, right!? I'm not very consistent at blogging at all haha! Plus I just feel like I don't have very many interesting things to say, lol.
That's so awesome! I hope you like the…[Read more] -
Yeah, I totally will!
I do, too. 🙁 I guess it’s because it’s a broken system created by broken people.
Lol XD I wonder if most bloggers feel that way at some time or another…
Yay! I can’t wait for it!

Yes, exactly. I SO wish I could change something.
Haha probably! It’s pretty rough, but it’s fun, lol!
Ooooh that’s the best question I’ve heard concerning Covid and everything!! One hilarious thing we did during quarantine is recreate a music video from YouTube. The song is called “Why Don’t We Just Dance” by Josh Turner. My siblings…[Read more]-

Hmmm…The funniest thing must’ve been when my brother did a “stand up comedy” show for us all, relaying his experiences from when he was in Papua New Guinea on a mission trip… It was so funny! -
Haha it was SO FUN!! The best part was just learning to dance.😂
Ooh that is awesome!! Stand up comedy is great! 😉
Papua New Guinea!? That is so cool! When did he go there?
I’m hoping to do some travelling after I graduate this year, but maybe the borders wont be open by then. 😥

This is an awesome topic to start! I love characters from so many stories, so it was super wise to lower the options to characters we’ve made up. 🙂
My favourite character that I’ve invented is definitely a teen boy named Edmond. He’s seriously awesome!!!!! Technically it was my friend and I who made him up together, because we’re writing a…[Read more]

Fantastic advice from @bama-rose .
My productivity increased when I started setting deadlines for myself.
If I have eight total hours to edit this draft, then I sit down, start my timer, and work at it for however long. When I’m done with a session, I log my time in a spreadsheet. When that time adds up to eight hours, I’m done with that draft…[Read more]

@bama-rose That was a really good piece of advice.😊
@zee Ah, chapter 9. Mine was chapter 21…the longest, hardest, most horribly written chapter in my whole book so far.😁
I’m not one that typically struggles with perfectionism in life, but with writing, it has been a problem sometimes. Alabama Rose probably put it better than I ever…[Read more]

That is some great advice! Thank you! 😀 I’ll have to check out that writing app. I struggle with this too, so I don’t know why I didn’t start a topic on it myself, LOL I haven’t been writing very long, so I don’t think I have much to say that would help. Right now I just listen and put in when I think I have some good advice.

@bama-rose Congrats I’m finishing your novel’s draft!

Aw thank you so much, Evelyn!! How’s your writing coming? I feel like I haven’t talked to you for so long!

Wow, it has been a while! In fact it’s been A G E S since I’ve been on S.E.
I haven’t been writing anything consistently since around May..? Maybe before? I miss it but I honestly don’t have the time for pouring life into that kind of project in this stage of life and I’ve come to terms with that. (:What are the big plans for your book now??
-
Yeah, I haven’t been on S.E for so long either! I miss everyone!
Aw, yeah, that makes sense. You’re still keeping your blog up, though, right? Your poems are so beautiful!

Hahahahaha THAT'S RELATABLE.
lol after a project i'm just like uhhh wat now my brain
I always end up letting it sit awhile and then end up rewriting it or at least giving it a heavy edit.
What genre is this one? I can't remember. O.o -
Cool!
Haha YES EXACTLY I’m literally terrified to even open up the document right now!! UGHHHHH I need to soon but I’m just overwhelmed with everything I need to change.
It’s like…. speculative fiction, I guess? It takes place in the real world, but there’s elements in it that couldn’t actually happen, if that makes sense?
