Holy heck girl, that’s a homeschooler power move and a half
It’s a program (through the same folks that run YWW) that’s basically a college replacement for aspiring authors, training them in both business and writing so they can make a living as authors instead of struggling XD It’s really great!

Well that’s absolutely no fun at all. Maybe stand…[Read more]

Oh wow, you must have started college early!
I’m doing alright ^_^ I’ve been in the Author Conservatory for about a year and a half now, and through that I’m on my third novel and am running my own cleaning business! It’s been crazy but really cool, and I’m on the lookout for my third employee now XD

Ah, adulthood XD You know, the night before…[Read more]

  • @emberynus-the-dragonslayer Haha, well, I’m making it my career, which helps. XD Both my last book and my current one were part of my work in the Author Conservatory (the cleaning business is, too).

I could not possibly write without an outline. XD I can’t even manage to write a synopsis without outlining it first…

    Kiet: *sticks his head…[Read more]

  • @emberynus-the-dragonslayer Ooh that’s great!

Yep! Do you remember Kiet, Grace, Tai, etc? I finished theirs in 2021 at almost 100k words, and another fantasy novel at about the same word count last summer. Sashal, Daya, Milo, and Averic are some of the major character in the book I’m almost finished outlining!

  • Heyyyy @emberynus-the-dragonslayer! *hugs back and takes more than her fair share of the chocolate* I’ve been all over the place. I’m on my second year of the Author Conservatory, working on my third novel, running a cleaning service… busy and living life! How about you?

Would you rather have to always wear your least favorite color or only be…[Read more]

  • Oh wow, it has been a long time since I’ve been on here. Hey again guys!

Would your character rather kill to stay alive or die to keep their friend alive?

Lol even my less-than-savory characters veer less selfish than that, but they all have different nuances, sooo…

Sashal: Oh, die to keep someone alive! I… I don’t think I could kill…[Read more]

  • @anne_the_noob14 *waves from the clouds*
Helloooo~! I popped on here to glance at something quick and was reminded of our fun shenanigans way back when ^_^ How’ve you been?? What’s new?

    • Oh my goodness! Hello! It’s been a while! I’ve been drowning in college and jobs xD But everything is good! I’m a year and a half away from having my bachelor’s degree, and I’m about to have two part-time jobs, starting next month hopefully. I turned 18 this past November, so it’s a little weird being in the “technically an adult(TM)” crowd, lol!…[Read more]

      • I did, I started taking classes when I was 14 (turned 15 that semester)!

What’s the Author Conservatory? And congrats on getting so much writing done and on your business!
And that’s hilarious and I’m about to look up that for my state now… xD

      • Well, considering that there’s nowhere to shoot a buffalo from the second floor of a hotel anywhere around here, and seeing as I don’t have any neighbors who have dairy cows for me to go milk, I’m stuck with being a law-abiding citizen xD

Ohhh I love Makoto Shinkai’s most recent movies (especially Your Name… I’ve watched it like, five times now and the climax always kills me…). Silent Voice is amazing, too! I really liked seeing some of the differences between Japanese and American Sign Language… being a language nerd myself. XD

I haven’t watched either of those series,…[Read more]

    @emberynus-the-dragonslayer

I had been kind of wavering on my end; I’m about to start classes for my conservatory, and I’m also working and balancing other life stuff. I’m not sure I’ll have much time to commit, and I’ll probably only keep having less. So… I think what I might do is find a way to pull my characters out organically. I don’t want…[Read more]

  • @ericawordsmith whoops, forgot to tag you XD I had a few snippets of advice for writing scripts up there lol

  • *shows up with Starbucks two weeks late* Heh, what’s up

Ok so I am NOT an expert at this by any means, but I recently wrote a screenplay for my music teacher, so I have the experience of one (1) script? I’ll do my best here XD

The biggest thing I learned was that in anything visual like screenplays or theater, since you have only dialogue to…[Read more]

  • Hey! I was sure I’d posted this but somehow it didn’t register. . .?

I’d be willing to do a sketch or two for people! I’m not as good as some people on here but I can draw stuff lol. Here’s a sample of my art:

  • GREAT JOB, KHY!!!

  • oh, and do you think there’s a chance the person would go into shock? XD

  • @the-inkspiller Hey, uhhhhhhh, question. . . how likely is it that a fall from 25 feet, with the person landing on one leg, would break the femur of that leg? what all do you think would get broken? how long do you think it would take for it to heal. . .?

(thanks, and good luck on your nursing exams if you haven’t finished them yet!!)
