I think it is one of those words that are the most common.
I actually shared three of my poems in the group poets. They have to do with a storm, spring and a sunrise.
Cool, I usually write poems when I feel like writing, but I don’t have a story idea and I don’t have a story I am working on, or if I feel like writing but don’t know what…[Read more]

@olivia, @kimlikesart, @mischievous-thwapling, @hobbitchild, what inspires you to write? I’ve tagged you all because I’d love to hear your answers and share them on my blog, but don’t feel pressure. I also still have some books to give away…
If you’re interested, please share your thoughts with me at: btznvntATgmailDOTcom.

That’s another one I use a lot, but more so in my stories then poems. I don’t think I have ever used that word in a poem. Actually I did use it in one of my poems.

We live just down the street from a lake (literally), but all the good beaches are a couple minutes away. We don’t swim as much as I’d like, there’s a lot of younger kids in my family who don’t know how to swim yet, so we have to watch them.
Hockey is awesome. We mostly play street-hockey in our boots, but we’ve also had home-made rinks…[Read more]

Hey, so fun! I live down by Lake Huron, near the boarder to Michigan. You are much more Northern than me.
IΒ loveΒ hockey too, and skating, and snow, despite the fact that I get tired of snow about mid-February.😄 I love how we get the four seasons here…especially autumn. Fall is my definition of heavenly.
How’s everything opening w…[Read more]

Hey!!
I was just thinking about you! We haven’t talked in a while! How have you been?-
Lol, ya, I know! xP As much as I would expect not being busy with summer here and COVID to add to it, I’ve been doing so much stuff lately that when I get one day that nothing is planned, I’m relieved! lol. Bit of an exaggeration, but mostly true, since I help my parents in the garden they have (a market garden) and I mow people’s yards with my…[Read more]

Hey!
That sounds fun! Haha same! We had the two babies over yesterday! (my two nephews) and…it’s a lot of work watching two toddlers lol!! I joined YWW which is super nice! So I’ve been trying to get as much as I can out of it! haha
Did you change your last name?
Oh haha it’s me in my profile pic lol!
-
-
Oh, who’s in your profile picture? You don’t have to answer if you don’t want to, just was curious when I saw it.
-
Ya, kids are a lot of work to watch, and toddlers even more! My family fostered for many years, so I have a lot of experience with kids, and especially toddlers and babies. XP
Oh, no I didn’t change my last name. π I just decided it might not be the best thing in the world for everyone on here to see what my name is, so I changed it to my middle…[Read more]

Ya, fostering is one of the dreams I want to do when I’m older. In other words, when I have my own family. Not like I’m gonna foster after High School when I’m working to make money and still living with my parents. Lol. π π
Glad you like the name. π When I was bemoaning the fact that I didn’t have a cool name to publish with if I ever wrote a…[Read more]

It’s funny that you mention the root beer, because when I looked at the picture, I was a little taken by surprise when I saw it. π Lol. I thought it was beer, but I was like, well, it’s not a SIN to drink beer. π
-
Oh, are you on Duolingo? It’s a language learning app you can get for your phone, and I’m on there learning Spanish. I started only in the past month, but I LOVE IT!!!!! I do it for fun, actually. π
-
Yeah, it would be fun!
Yeah, I think it’s pretty! -
Haha yeah! I only said it bc I’m only 13 XD! But yeah I agree lol!
I’m not, but I think my older brother is!
-
-
Aww, glad you like it. π
-
Ya, that’s funny about the root beer though. Lol. Hey, I’m only two years older than you. π (For a minute I thought I was only one year older, but then I remembered I turned 15 in May. I’m so used to being 14, that this year I find myself telling people I’m 14 instead of 15. Lol. It’s the first year I’ve had that problem, and I think it’s because…[Read more]

That’s funny that you get along with those age groups the best. I’m in the middle of my friend group going by age, since I have friends from the ages of twelve to sixteen, basically. My closest friend is sixteen, and we hang out a lot, but also just talk about stuff. That’s another thing I find funny. I have all of my friends, but I’m closer to…[Read more]

My other friend that I actually see all the time is 18 lol! We sometimes work together!
But yeah, all my friends online are mostly 13 and 15!
My fav age…well honestly I’d say this age lol!!
Yeah, it seems really hard!! I think it’d be fun to learn Hindi!-
Yeah, it is! Stole your idea lol!!

@olivia Hey, I just saw over on a different thread that you live in Northern Ontario. So do I! Don’t feel like you have to answer, if you’d rather not, but I was just wonderingΒ where you lived (you don’t have to be specific)?
It would just be cool if we actually lived near each-other.😉

@olivia Yeah, Welsh is an amazing language. I originally was trying it because Tolkien liked it, but now I just like it for itself. The pronunciation isΒ beautiful (once you understand it).
I’m actually mostly German and have some family members who have learned it, but I never tried. I’d love to go to Germany, though. I’m Lutheran and I really…[Read more]

@olivia salve, amica! (That’s Latin. Which I do know… sort of.) I’ve used Duolingo in the past, but it’s been a while. I was trying to learn Welsh π
It definitely is hard to work on a story when you’re not in the mood… it’s one of those things I’m trying to make myself do anyway. I was at a webinar with Josiah DeGraaf a while ago (it was for…[Read more]

I’m about to start reading ‘The Hidden Hand’ by E.D.E.N. Southworth. It should be really good. I read a two-book series of hers before and it was really good. Meaning, it made me want to laugh, cry, throw it away, and turn pages until the end all throughout. (:
