That’s another one I use a lot, but more so in my stories then poems. I don’t think I have ever used that word in a poem. Actually I did use it in one of my poems.

We live just down the street from a lake (literally), but all the good beaches are a couple minutes away. We don’t swim as much as I’d like, there’s a lot of younger kids in my family who don’t know how to swim yet, so we have to watch them.

Hey, so fun! I live down by Lake Huron, near the boarder to Michigan. You are much more Northern than me.

I love hockey too, and skating, and snow, despite the fact that I get tired of snow about mid-February.😄 I love how we get the four seasons here…especially autumn. Fall is my definition of heavenly.

I’m about to start reading ‘The Hidden Hand’ by E.D.E.N. Southworth. It should be really good. I read a two-book series of hers before and it was really good. Meaning, it made me want to laugh, cry, throw it away, and turn pages until the end all throughout. (:
