I’m glad you liked it. If you have any questions about it or requests for it, feel free to tell me!
Yeah, I understand not doing the mindset course (I started it but haven’t finished it, oops). I am not close to publishing either, but I figured that learning about publishing now doesn’t hurt.
I don’t know why, but I just assume “you” or…[Read more]

Haha, yep! My writing moods are like, “This is amazing. This will need very little fixing” and the other is “This is terrible, it needs a complete rewrite or simply deleted from existence”. But even the amazing scenes need a lot of work and terrible ones aren’t as bad as I thought.
Oh, thank you for the recommendations! I…[Read more]

I feel like all of us want that.
Here you go: https://ribbonash.blogspot.com/ Oh, yay, I hope you enjoy it. ^_^ Oh, really? That’s so cool! I would totally follow it if you do one! Yes, that is the reason why I started my own last year. And why I got Instagram a few days ago. Having a platform is very useful for publishing. I am alright…[Read more]

Sorry for the late replies, everyone! The days have been escaping me so fast.
Yep, I believe if you cringe, then you have improved. XD I don’t know about you, but I think I write pretty good during the first draft and if I go, “oof, that’s bad”, it is like a sign of your growth, if that makes sense. Oh, this is your first…[Read more]

Oh, wow, I really love the sound of this sibling relationship! It sounds realistic and cool and something I could easily adore. <3 😀
That’s good! It is something to be proud of. 🙂 Oof, first drafts are fun, am I right? But the best thing is that you can fix it (why I love all of the drafts after the first draft X…[Read more]

I use a lot of different curricula, but I use Memoria Press for literature. I’ve heard good things about Sonlight, and all the reading seems a plus.

Oh, I never thought about it before, but the inside jokes in the fandom are actually really fun! I do enjoy them too! It is great that you can say a random thing out of context and people get it!
Thank you! It is pretty great since it is such a personal thing to Smoke and for this book particularly I think it needs something…[Read more]

Ah, it might have been Alabama Rose’s blog cause I’ve never even heard of The Young Writers Worship. Okay, I might check out it, though I won’t join cause I really don’t have the money for it right now.
It does depends on the story! My other novel was easier to write. This current one is such a big mess and it is making the story hard to…[Read more]

The Wordsnatcher was so clever! I also like the Triple Demons of Compromise.
Okay For Now is sadder than The Wednesday Wars, but is still hopeful. I highly recommend it.
I heard of The Twenty-One Balloons from my homeschool curriculum too! I think I ended up reading it before I had to do it for school because I…[Read more]

YDubs doesn’t sound familiar to me. What is the link for it?
Thanks! Oh, cool! I certainly plan to do that some time in the future!
Thank you! ^_^ It has been a year now. I’m still in the first draft, at the beginning. -_- Something that I really hope that I can fix this year. 🙂
Fair enough. I only used my special sentence so I don’t…[Read more]

Phantom Tollbooth is another one of my favorites–can’t believe I didn’t mention it! I love the Humbug so much.
And if you like The Wednesday Wars, there’s a sequel called Okay For Now that follows Doug and a new book I haven’t read yet called Just Like That about Meryl Lee.
Glad to meet someone else who’s heard…[Read more]

Nice to meet you!
Oh my goodness! My family and I are reading The Wednesday Wars right now. That is the only Gary D. Schmidt book I have read but it is very good. I also like The Phantom Tollbooth by Norton Juster. Have you read it?
Neat! I love blueberries.
Ooo, I have read some of those! I have not read…[Read more]

Hello and thank you!
Both of those are personality type indicators:
INFJ is from the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator, which puts people into 16 types based on how you observe the world and make decisions. INFJ stands for introvert, intuitive, feeling, and judging.
2w1 is from the Enneagram. Admittedly I do not know as much about this one,…[Read more]

No need to apologize! Though, unfortunately, I think you’re remembering someone else. I haven’t been to any writing weeks or workshops. My profile picture is just one I pulled off google images, so I my very well just have happened to have the same one as the person you’re remembering.
Sorry. 🙂

Rose replied to the topic Revealing villain motivations? in the forum General Writing Discussions 1 month, 3 weeks ago
Hi Zee, thank you so much for the advice! Great minds must think alike because Unnamed Character is indeed a minor villain who’s constantly getting in Liorah’s way. He has a lot more ‘screen-time’ than Hakan, so that helps. I actually have several antagonists, (not all villains, some mean well, they just get in Liorah’s way.) and I was…[Read more]

Yes, I got that email too! A very helpful idea… And I can totally relate about things getting too cliché. It’s so easy to fall into the common “groove” of a genre.
I like how you are trying to brainstorm fresh ideas to change things up. It seems like concepts always sound more cliché than the fully fleshed out idea, so I’m sure y…[Read more]

@thedarkninja03 @kimlikesart @claire-h @purpleturtle @olivia Happy thanksgiving to you all!! Love you!
@eitan Not sure when if/when Isreal celebrates Thanksgiving, but I thought I’d wish you a happy one anyway!!-
Thanks! Happy Thanksgiving to you too!!
Thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.

Happy Thanksgiving!

Oh, thank you for remembering! No, we don’t celebrate it but thank you anyway! Happy Thanksgiving, though I think I’m a bit late… But I wish you all to be happy anyway! 😀

Oh okay, I wasn’t sure if you had your own version, or if you didn’t do it at all lol! Thanks! =)

Haha, thanks! I know I’m super late, but I keep forgetting to check emails and such.

Just curious, are all of you in your profile picture related? If you don’t want me to know, that’s fine, I was just looking at it and realized all of you look related. Your smiles especially look alike.
-
Yeah! That’s me on the left holding my nephew who’s the son of the second girl on the right. The first girl on the right is my older sister who’s a Marine and the other lady is my Mom. =)
-
Okay, I sorta guessed you were all sisters and that was your mom, but I wasn’t sure. And I wasn’t sure which one was you. 😛 You really all do look a ton alike though! Hahaha

Haha! Yeah! Did you know Mom is 50% Sicilian?

I am very late coming to this, but, HAPPY THANKSGIVING!!!!!!!
Thank you Beth. (:

Haha, you’re welcome!! =)

Cool! I’m not biracial, but I think that would be awesome! My mom does sorta wonder if there is some African-American blood on her side though, because some of the features in our family look like it. Like my hair. You can’t really tell in the picture, but my hair is really kinky and big, so it sorta looks like a white version of African-American…[Read more]
