Well, my grandfather was in the Air Force, my uncle was in the Navy, and my other uncle flew medical helicopters for… I actually don’t remember. 😀 Might have been Army.

Okay…let me think… One of the main themes of Erik’s story is learning how to put God first. You could also do something about learning to trust and to press on, because he loses both his best friends in war. Like never give up, or keep going…those sort of quotes.

That was one of the sweetest/saddest things I have ever read! Blanke is someone, going from what I know, who just wants to prove himself to himself and his daughter. I love Trisha’s innocence. That was so touching!
