I believe that the point of the Cullings is to obtain the government position you’ve entered or been entered for. There can be only one winner, and others are ‘culled’ through elimination (the person who did the poorest or finished last is eliminated).

Hmmm…the one about Ben was probably my first “book,” even though I’ve been telling stories since I was really small.

Frodo in LoTR is probably my favorite. They do him really well in the movies. Also, Wilber in Charlotte’s Web.
