@eitan (:
Six year old Chena Batjehoshaphat laughed as she and her two brothers chased a plump frog.
“Hurry! Hurry! Before he reaches the stream!” Nine-year-old Malachi rushed ahead, shoving his little sister aside.
Far behind them Levi, his chin only reaching a finger over the tall grass began to cry. Chena glanced back, her shoulders low…[Read more]

‘It seems that you just took the original wording and added, instead of really changing it.’
Sorry. 🙁

Funny about that,… I don’t remember how I did it…
As to your critique about calling all the moms and dads abba and imma because I refer to God that way or changing everything. I get your point about that.
The reason I want to use Hebrew names for God is because so few of the people I suspect to read it know of His names. I love all…[Read more]

Wisconsin…hmmm….mostly known for outdoor activities, beer, cheese, and bratwurst…oh yes, and Packers football. I only get into the outdoors, cheese and bratwurst. My husband (who grew up in Texas) describes Green Bay as a place caught in the 80’s…it’s pretty blue-collar up here and family-oriented. I love the green and the wat…[Read more]

@beth20 No problem. Aunty A is fine…she’s got kittens.😍 Don’t feel like you always have to reply when I tag you.

Hey @eitan @katja-r@luciusbraun! Is this problem still occurring for you all? I think we may have fixed it with a software update (so it works on my end when I test it), but I wanted to see if that was the case for you as well or not.

@eitan (Revised original prologue). I get what you said about the Romans burning homes, but I explain why this happened later, and why it could happen.
The little girl’s chest steadily rose and fell, her coarse sheets just barely brushing her closed, dark lashes. Her lips turning upward, and face smooth, she dreamed of their goats, and c…[Read more]

Oh. Now I understand how tactless and insulting I was. I’m so sorry if I insulted you or degraded your WIP in any way, I totally didn’t mean that. I ask your forgiveness.

I like all the reptiles, and their uses. And the prophet thing, and the judges. You have their history so well figured out!

I, uh, never thought of it that way, but that might be a cool addition to the species. They just live in certain places around the world and the humans capture and domestication them for military purposes. At least in most cases. Some lucky few have them for personal travel.
@arindown Thank you!

@eitan Your Sandwellers sound pretty awesome! I like the idea of the reptiles and burrows, and judges. Do your people have weapons (in case of attack)? If so, what type do they use?

Sure! I’ll just paste an excerpt from where one of my characters sees one.
The majestic creatures were a grandiose blend of bright green and smoky gray scales. Their bodies were hunched over like a roadrunner. A pointed, hawk-like head turned to gaze at him with dark, beady eyes. To compliment all of this, burnt orange feathers that…

I also get what you said about not knowing the actual day you said, ‘I will follow Jesus.’ A lot of people at a church I go to can point out their ‘second birthday’, but I can’t.
I was baptized when I was eight, on Easter actually. I knew of Jesus then. I knew all the stories from the Bible. And I had no doubt that my parents had told the…[Read more]
