One other way to illuminate your theme under the light of character is with a foil; a character who is a contrast to your main character. It helps to more clearly define flaws and contrasts the way one person lives with what it’s like to be the OPPOSITE way
Salutations fellow writer
I’m talking to myself, lol
WAIT… what if we pull them through a story that’s already been written?! Like a popular movie, book, or game we might all know (or one of us), and then the goal is for them to finish it? Just a thought 😀
You’ve been tagged! This is an announcement for a new Role Play For Fun:

@rebecca-wWhat if the goal of the protagonists/antagonists in the new setting are linked to what their goals were before they were pulled away? Maybe in discovering a way out they also learn something that helps them in their world?
Don’t worry guys, I’m gonna go grind some ink!!!
@alatheia-grace *Smiles and shakes your hand rigorously* Thanks, nice to meet you!
@dekreel I took a test a couple weeks ago, and it said that I was a ENFJ-A, although I’m 95% sure I’m introverted XD
I haven’t started playing Aetherlight yet, but I did start playing Getting Over It. It’s not a new game, but it’s… fun? Do you play Aetherlight?
Off topic, I just found out what word wars are… *nods head* pretty cool.
Well, sorry to come in uninvited, but I just needed to point out the lies someone has been spreading all over the forum (by that I mean my Introduction). @the-fledgling-artist, you said you WEREN’T A VERY GOOD ARTIST… lies!
Also, when I came in here out of curiosity and saw all of your artwork I was just so impressed by everyone. I will try not to be jealous, but keep up the great artwork! I am inspired now… brb XD
PS. I’m not going to try and tag everyone…
& No I didn’t kill anyone to lose it… I’m not one of those writers…
@eden-anderson 1 Month later… Sorry, I just LEFT ya hanging there, lol (not funny). I finally received my electronic privileges back… I didn’t miss much in January did I?
@the-fledgling-artist I think that as long as the character contributes to the theme of the story (and plot too?) that she doesn’t need to be WANTED within the group, and maybe her being an outsider is something that people reading your story can connect with.
So it could possibly be that she’s just a non-influential character and you need to give her some more motivation… just a thought 😀
Here is more of an answer to your question XD. Everyone has gifts of some sort so maybe throughout the course of the story she can find her place and become accepted over time. Maybe her rejection is not so much her flaw as it is the flaw of the other members of the group that they need to overcome… she could be the tension used to develop your other characters.
I came here for a character college… I’m not an idiot I swear.
@i-david to answer your questions, no & no
@taylorclogston that is amazing! That’d be hilarious… and since he’s famous, his stories can be REALLY stretched -
