@e-b-raulandsIt’s probably too late to ask for this word war, but for future reference what are the exact parameters for an “original scene”? (action, dialogue, plot, etc.)
To the glory of God and for the advancement of His kingdom.

@i-davidThe war is over… but I hear no answer… and the forms are still open…
…has the war only just begun?
@e-b-raulands I guess just any scene that you wrote. The genre probably doesn’t matter, so long as it’s a story and it’s all yours. There’s not really all that many parameters needed.Four

@e-b-raulandsThank-you for responding! I guess my question was more about the “scene” part of the description. Does the fictional writing have to include plot/dialogue/action in it? I ask because I spent a lot of last week writing pieces relating to my fantasy world, none of which I included in my word count because of the style they were written in. For example, I finished my introduction to a fantasy history book written by a fictional historian and addressing issues of his world; however, since it’s in a personal essay style, does it still count as a scene?
(And unfortunately, I do believe the word war is over now.)

@i-davidThe war should be over, but there’s just no official word yet, so. It just seems a little strange, but I’m sure we’ll find out soon enough. 🙂
And since it’s for your book, I’m absolutely sure it counts!

@catwingI’m also wondering about the results of the last war.
When your wings are weak and you feel like you can't fly any farther you're halfway there!
