The Fledgling Artist

@the-fledgling-artist She looks fantastic! I love it! See getting out of your comfort zone can be great (and trial and error is the best way to learn!)

@the-fledgling-artist  Haven’t started anything yet, actually. Hopefully someday, because I would like some practice. 😛

@christieaton  I based the look after an antagonist of an abandoned WIP. Other than that, I’m not sure. 😛

@the-fledgling-artist @sageinthemeadow @itisastarrynight @slisby

Ahh! I’m so glad you guys are going to try it! I can’t wait to see what you make. I haven’t planned anything for myself yet either. I think I’m going with a blue/greenish color. I have two markers that I’ve been wanting to challenge myself with!

@dekreel I want you to try color!…[Read more]

@the-fledgling-artist I think I’m going to give it a go! Though I have no idea what I’m going to do… haha

@the-fledgling-artist

Ooh, really? I’ve always wanted to see a novel done like that, and if I can’t find one I like write my own XD. What’s your WIP about?

@cassandraia Ah! I see.

@the-fledgling-artist Yeah, I also see why they’ve probably not started private messages… seems like it could really get out of control… and… clickish. If that makes sense. 😛

You know what would be really cool? Instead of online video calls, planning local get togethers or state get togethers, where everyone who…[Read more]

Thanks!

@evelyn

Aw, thanks! Yeah, the words in the background is like my favorite part. Although I think it would have been cooler to draw it on an actual page from Arthur Conan Doyle’s books.

@the-fledgling-artist You two are sisters? You must have so much fun drawing together!

I was a little intimidated by oils at first. But using them is quite easy! I like how slow the drying time is, so blending isn’t a problem compared to acrylics. The thing that I don’t like is that you have to use toxic solvents to thin the paint, like…[Read more]

Ahhh, Madame, believe me, when I say with the utmost sincerity, that it is a true pleasure to speak with you once again. How my heart quickens at the thought of your blessed return to these glorious halls! How I rejoice to hear of your coming!

Or, in modern English translation: YAY!!! I’m so glad your back!! *smothers you in a hug*…[Read more]

@the-fledgling-artist Hmm… interesting idea! That would be very hard to plan though. And it seems like we’re already putting so much on the Guild Master. *shrugs*

@the-fledgling-artist Don’t you dare apologize haha, I like talking to you! Ballpoint pen is so lovely too! I’ve seen people create some amazing things with it. I don’t think I have a least favorite medium though… Well, I did try oil pastels (they’re basically buttery unblendable crayons) and it was a complete disaster. Tried it again a few days…[Read more]

@the-fledgling-artist My favorite medium is definitely watercolour! It’s my favorite one to work with and the finished look of it is just super pretty. But I also enjoy oils, acrylics, soft pastels, digital art. color pencil, ink and ofcourse the classic grey pencil for sketching. I basically like everything haha. Do you have a favorite?

@the-fledgling-artist Thank you.
*thinks for a minute* Hmmm…
Alexandria Evergreen. She is fourteen.
She has a t-shirt she really likes with a picture of a tree with roots in a circle(the shirt is green and the tree is brown). Wears blue jeans all the time. Likes to keep her hair in a ponytail(it is brown. if you are doing color). Hazel eyes. If…[Read more]
