The Fledgling Artist

@the-fledgling-artist

Sounds good! =)

@evelyn  Thanks! I did the mouse for a competition. Glad you like Erik, too. 😉

@ashira  Yes, that’s a great one! X’D He’s actually a friend of mine (Joseph’s brother, actually).

@the-fledgling-artist  Ahhaha, thanks!! My favorite animal of all time. . .

@kari-karast  The support is much appreciated. ^.^ Have you seen my Aetherlight art pag…[Read more]

@the-fledgling-artist I hope you don’t mind if I bring painting into this thread. 😉

….

So for my tenth birthday my Grandma gave me a set of acrylic paints. I painted for a couple years and was TERRIBLE. Like beyond your imagination. I thought I was amazing though. 😛 XD

Anyways, the paints had to be packed up a couple years ago (the cr…[Read more]

Right-o, let’s do this. . .

First of all, there’s this. Some of you may have already seen it but there you go. 😛

I tried to publish this one on the SE blog, but failed. 😛 So I’ll publish it informally instead. XD

My two favorite Inktober drawings:

Well, I do have my suspicions. But they’re only suspicions.

@the-fledgling-artist

*shrugs* I got no clue. I’m only partially waiting on you. I’m just waiting to do anything with Dagger until you do your thing and then I’m still deciding what to do with the twins.

@michelle

Aw, thanks!

@evelyn Thank you! Of course I don’t care! 😛 I didn’t really like the way the waves turned out…I feel like the water could have looked a lot cooler than it did. Also, I wish I wouldn’t have colored the castle and the rock all the same color.

@the-fledgling-artist @ashira @lin Thanks! 😀

@e_elaine_soup5 oh dang, this is actually kind of super cool to see Lin played by someone else!! 😂 I’m not used to seeing him in someone else’s hands. That’s really neat and you got him pretty spot on, I’m impressed.

So, transported to a magical pine forest? I can work with that. *pops fingers* Is he with Colorado?

Also @the-fledgling-artist Elai…[Read more]

( @the-fledgling-artist Just so you know, Karra would actually 100% sympathize and encourage Scarlet. She feels like she has to essentially babysit Belial, which makes what’s happening with him even harder for her.)

@misspenguin

Exactly. Plus I wanna see what @the-fledgling-artist is gonna do with Dagger K.

@the-fledgling-artist Hello! I don’t know how long I’ve been interested in art, but taking it seriously is a new thing. I’m excited to work on improving it!

@theclumsy_lamplighter Cool profile pic. I seriously need to see that movie. Lol, glad I’m not the only one who was caught off guard. Hm, I like ink, but lately I’ve been dabbling in digital…[Read more]

That verse has been a favorite of mine since I was very young.  You captured it beautifully. 😀

@evelyn

You did an excellent job. 🙂

@kate, @r-m-archer, @the-fledgling-artist, @selah-chelyah: thank you so much. I get nervous over the smallest things and it helped to know you guys had my back.

The bad news: the paper does not have a copyeditor and is not looking for one, and the hiring manager was Out. I was given to understand that he is usually Out.

What kind of s…[Read more]

*glances at you suspiciously* Hmmm.

Okay. Sure! Just as long as it’s not too out of character or something!

@kb-writer Music and poetry always go together…let’s just say that. 😉 Also, your signature just is…great.

@the-fledgling-artist

Hi – I’m even later than Katherine, so hopefully I’m still welcome 🙂 Just to start out, your poetry is lovely and heartfelt.  Both Katherine and Evelyn’s advice are superb and I can’t say what they said better t…[Read more]

@the-fledgling-artist Thank you! I’m actually happy with how the (our side) left wing of the gargoyle looks. I was really nervous about trying to put it down but it does kind of look like a wing at the proper angle!

@the-fledgling-artist @evelyn Thank you both for the encouragement =P

@sarah-inkdragon Do it! I’d love to see your stuff :-}

I did this on Wednesday while playing D&D. The gargoyle and can were on the table, and the other stuff is just doodles.
