“I d-don’t know,” her voice was weak, cracking, “I can’t f-feel an-anything.”
Keldan’s arm tightened around her shoulder. Gin’s vision faded quickly, but came back in flashes, the color fading.
“I can’t see color,” hysterics were coming in, “Keldan, i c-can’t see c-color.”
His arm tightened again, and Keldan lay her gently on the ground, “I’m…[Read more]
Gin shrugged, “I have no idea. I think we were tested on, though. I didn’t have this fur before.”
Jayce raised an eyebrow and Keldan shifted closer to her, almost as if he was protecting her. Gin looked up at his profile, then back at Jayce. It didn’t look like he trusted the new guy, ad the new guy looked a little unsure about Keldan.
“Easy now, buddy,” Gin said quietly, “I was born in the eighties. Now, can you tell me your name?”
“Jayce,” he said weakly. She nodded. That was good, if he remembered who he was there was hopefully no head damage.
“My name is Forest Queen Genevieve, but you can call me Gin for now, okay?” the boy nodded weakly. As Gin babbled, she wrapped and…[Read more]
Gin nodded stiffly, rushing back into the locker room. She opened each locker quickly, yanking out a pair of jeans and a t-shirt. Throwing that out the door near the boy, Gin dashed back inside to look for a first aide kit.
“Keldan!” she called, “I have some first aide! I can get his injures.”
Gin started studiously wrapping up the boy’s wounds,…[Read more]
Gin sucked in air between her teeth in pain. The bullet fell to the floor with a slight “clink”, making her shudder. Gin looked at Keldan, her eyes widening.
“All I’m wearing is this blanket, Keldan,” her voice was quiet, almost a whisper. His face reddened but the knight nodded.
“We still need to bind the wound so you don’t lose too much bloo…[Read more]
Gin touched her side lightly, her hand coming back covered in gold blood. “I don’t know. I’ve never been shot by a bullet before.”
The Red Rider–Keldan–walked over and placed a hand behind her back, supporting Gin, “Never been shot by a bullet? You make it sound like you’ve been shot before. Where’d you get hit?”
“as a queen, arrows are a…[Read more]
Whoo, guys, just got off a 8 hour shift
Gin gritted her teeth, looking at the Red Rider and willing him to not move. She needed to put these guys to sleep, but if they got violent, she might be shot.
“Red Rider?” Gin hated how much her voice shook, “please don’t move.”
He looked taken aback by…[Read more]
She dropped the keypad on the table and went in search for clear tape. She looked in all of the cabinets, shivering as she made her way down the row. Gin came back with nothing. She inspected the keypad, holding it up to the minimal light to see the shine of the keys.
Four were extra shiny.
“here!” she said happily, showing the Red Rider what…[Read more]
Gin nodded, turning on her bare feet away from the Red Rider. She shuffled over to the cabinet, and fumbled with the handle. She opened it quickly, hitting her forehead in the process.
“Are you okay?” the red rider asked from the table. Gin blushed furiously.
“I just hit my head, i’m fine,” she said quickly, rummaging in the cabinet. there was,…[Read more]
Gin glanced down at her tail, face turning red, “It’s normal. I hide it a lot,” her teeth caught on her lips again, making them bleed more, “But I’ll find some keys.”
She glanced around, trying to find any way to unlock the Red Rider. The blanket fluttered around her as she moved, threatening to trip. The lab area was a mess, counters filled with…[Read more]
Gin blinked a couple of times, it was the Red Rider from the cage. He was still really tall, but now that she was Avai sized, her size was dwarfed anyway. His brown hair was mussed and his eyes were blank, but Gin still ducked behind a table.
“Don’t look!” she called, face heating up quickly. Gin’s tail curled up, the tendrils that were connected…[Read more]
Gin woke up, groaning. Her tongue felt heavy and her muscles hurt. This was like when Prince Lune dropped her in the middle of an unfamiliar side of the Palace Tree and left her to figure out how to get back to her room on her own. She shivered at the memory. Or was it the temperature?
Her teeth chattered, and Gin found that her canines had grown…[Read more]
Actually, i would really like Gin and Keldan to be shipped not friendshipped, i just didn’t want to ask.
Also, i did a big overhaul on the Forest Queen story, so there’s a few minor changes to how Gin looks. She’s still pink, and has pointed ears, but she’s got a bit of a turned up nose with swirls on her face and body that glow in the dark.…[Read more]
(oof, guys i forgot to tell you she has a tail. not fluffy or anything, more like a cow’s, but its the forget-me-not color of her skin)
Gin was awoken by harsh chemical smells. She jolted upwards, but leather straps held her down to a cold metal table. She looked from side to side, trying to make sense of the things happening around…[Read more]
Gin had accidentally fallen into one of the slats of the Red Rider’s armor. Shots echoed and she ducked, finding a pocket in her bodice. Gin flashed her hand out and threw a little handful of seeds, forcing them to grow quickly. Vines tangled at the men’s feet, but didn’t hinder them, only made the men more angry.
One clutched his arms, but…[Read more]
“Ugh, i wore the wrong thing for this,” Gin groaned, “Yeah, it’s just about finished, i just need a few…” she paused, tugging at her bodice, “Twigs.”
Gin shoved them into the lock, and earned a small click, “There ya go. Wait a second while i change my wardrobe.”
with a flourish of her hand, Gin’s long dress shortened to a nice pouf of little…[Read more]
Gin nodded, coming out of the lock, “You look like the Avai version of my Royal Protection guards in the Flower Guard.”
“How many armies do you have?” the Red Rider asked as Gin wiped her hands on a different petal that was falling off of her gown.
“We don’t have armies, we have regiments,” She explained, sitting on his hand for a breather,…[Read more]
The material of the Knight’s gloves was slippery to Gin’s petal flats, and she tore a small bit of her dress. Gin sighed, but straightened and pushed her too-long hair out of her face. She picked the torn piece up and twisted it around, then reached her hands into the lock and started to work.
“What’s your name, knight?” Gin asked from inside the…[Read more]
Gin was taken aback. Yes, she did know how to pick a lock, but she was a Queen, he shouldn’t even ask that. And a lab! She was the Power of the Forest, if they tested Gin, bad things would happen around them.
“Yes, i do, i just need to be up near the lock, would you mind lending me a hand?”
he needs to raise her up to the lock
