Okay. I will. I don’t even know who’s in my guild.
Ah. I’m used to people pretending they don’t recognize me but that’s just cuz I’m not cool/pretty enough (writer and horse nerd is weird)
They don’t care about me moving out. Just my other siblings are all A+ 4.0 kids. And I’m not

@taylorclogston Hello!
I currently have a silver weimaraner dog, two cats, a rabbit, five ica brown chickens, a blue cochin chicken, a white silky bantam chicken, and four ducks. 🙂
I also love horses and riding them.

Thanks, guys. I actually started looking into book blurb writers. I’m thinking about this guy. https://www.fiverr.com/aawarren/write-a-blurb-that-rockets-your-book-up-the-charts?

@taylorclogston sure! I went into Docs and left a few suggestions. While there I realized the misspellings weren’t yours, so I apologize for saying that. I really loved your style of telling the story, and I hope you don’t change it too much 😀 Good luck!

Lots of description and show don’t tell! (That’s like Daeus’ fav) You had some, but maybe its just me that puts it all over? Idk….
First week without my friend…

@taylorclogston Wow! I was completely drawn into your story. Like I only meant to open the document and glance at it but ended up reading feverishly to the end in a few minutes lol. Some grammar stuff and misspelled words distracted me every once in a while, but the idea and your development of it were solid and captivating. Do you read through…[Read more]

@gabrielwoods Exactly what @taylorclogston said. 👍 There definitely needs to be perfect communication for a co-authored book. Also, Gabriel, good idea about keeping him updated with ideas (LOL). You don’t want to be too “pushy,” so I think keeping him updated with ideas would keep the book on his mind. 🙂

Again, generally, I agree with @taylorclogston.
I do like the bit about the wizard better, but it still feels really long-winded. That whole paragraph is one sentence and I feel like it should be two, not that I know how I would break it up.
If I may be potentially offensive…
Based solely on your synopsis writing, it seems to me…[Read more]

Thanks. But i don’t think there is anyway. Idk what to do with Unknown. You probably don’t remember, but when you were doing your Show Dont Tell course for the first time you let people send you like 500 long pieces to see if it had SDT, and i gave you end of the first chapter. I think you said it was pretty good in that a…[Read more]

I would look at repeated words within the same sentence or paragraph. I feel you are trying to do this for emphasis, but it comes off as a little distracting. Try to eliminate unnecessary words to tighten the story. Press on in your writing!

@taylorclogston I think that you should mention more of his surroundings, and maybe something about the service. Perhaps have him think that something the pastor said would contradict his secret.
but I think that you wouldn’t necessarily have to add anything. It’s up to you

@bama-rose Yeah, I’ve noticed that about fantasy here, so it’s kind of fun that now we can get the contemporary writers together. 😆 And ahhhh, I just love it that you’re writing about foster families!! Some of my brothers are adopted and there’s just not enough books about that.

@taylorclogston I’m not good at critiquing short stories since my mind’s wired for longer ones but…I’m all for writing about the hard stuff and wow. I loved and hated that all at the same time in such a good way. Keep it up.
