Hey Guys,
I’m working on some other stuff today so we’re gonna take a well-earned break from activities this week. (If you’re feeling let down, you could always swing by the critique board and help a fellow Lumenite out.)
Also, one of the things I’m working on is a guild feedback form so keep your eyes out for…[Read more]

Hey Guys
Um… no announcements today.
Cool.
And the assignment I have in mind is pretty chill too. I want to try to keep making these so that they help you write your WIP (is that what you guys want, or do you want a weekly break from your WIP?) so… this week we’re literally going to write your WIP.
Go to your first scene. That opening s…[Read more]

We have three new members (yay!)
@star, @graceabounds2129 and @wordsmith
y’all know how to give them a proper welcome.
Finally, this week’s activity is easy.

Hey, guys, so I know you have all been popping in and out of the doc. I finished a draft of the story, but I kind of stink at endings. What do you guys think? Do you have any changes you want to make or is there anything you don’t like? Can you think of a better…[Read more]

Hey Rillumenites!
It just so happens that our beloved guildmaster is away for the week (doing many exciting, writerly things). So, a thousand pardons, but y’all will have to put up with me again. 🙂 So if you have any questions over the week, go ahead and direct ’em my way.
This week’s activity will be simple since we’re working hard to finish…[Read more]

@sir-leeds I have. 🙂 It’s a world that’s been brimming and marinating for a long time. I just gotta be careful coercing it out so I don’t break it. XD Thanks so much!
Hmm, maybe you could start with a short story or a prose poem and hone it and take snippits from there to rough out your poem?

@sir-leeds *grins* Pleasure’s all mine! *shakes hand vigorously* Well, I figure if I end up in jail, I should probably know who the people are I’d call to bail me out. XD
Oh, man, writing ruts are no fun at all! I’ve kind of been in a bit of one myself regarding my short story competition piece. So, that’s one thing I’m quote unquote working on.…[Read more]

@gracelivingston Howdy! You do a great job with the podcast! 😀 I loved your camping embellishment. And, I also have recently made writing consistently a priority! And your poems sound super unique. 🙂 Nice to meet you!
@quinn-ofallon Hello! Watercolor paintings are beautiful! I think it’s so cool that you do that. Your blog sounds inspiring!…[Read more]

@rolena-hatfield *weeps* Meee tooo!!
Yeah, this group is full of great ideas!!!
@pookiemonster made a good point: our days are dwindling. I listed out all of the ideas I found in the doc thus far and came up with seven ideas. So, if you guys want to go on over and take a vote, I think that would help get the ball rolling so we can start an…[Read more]

@sir-leeds So, HI! *awkward wave* (I’m going through all the intros that I missed cause I’m a new member, so this is my extremely late response to your awesome introduction :D)
First off, nice list of mentors! Secondly, *insert Cheshire smile* you sound like what I call the perfect backboard. I also like being a backboard for people to bounce…[Read more]

Hey guys,
NEW GUILD WAR CHALLENGE! This time we’ve got two weeks to come up with the most emotional death scene we can write. Here’s the dirt:
Max words: 2,500
Due: 6/18/18
Topic: Death sceneSo, last time we did this we wrote two (really good) stories and ended up having to choose only one. Not only was it hard and sad, it also wasted ha…[Read more]

Hey Guys!
First off, some announcements, sad and happy.
You may have noticed, that AshlyVye has disappeared. Story Embers had a policy change on minimum forum age (for legal reasons), and she was a year shy. I do hear, however, that her birthday isn’t too far around the corner and hopefully she will return to us soon.
Now, happy, we have y…[Read more]

Hey folks, I’m here to bid you a fond fare well. As you can see, I’m now a guildmaster, and I’m off to start my own guild. Which means we’re now rivals. 😛
Kidding, kidding. You’re all still epic. 😉 But this is where I leave you. It was a pleasure to be with you all, and I couldn’t just leave without a little explanation and farewell. *salutes…[Read more]

@sir-leeds I’ve never published a collection of poetry but I really want to. The topic would be pretty broad but something like: Life, as that is what most of my poetry is about. Your ideas though sounds very interesting! As to my future plans for my poetry, I really want to play around with different meters.

@daeus-lamb, @josiah, I never thought of it that way. Somehow I say dystopian as a subcategory of fiction, but what you say makes sense. To have dystopian and the type of story varies. Dystopian is kinda futuristic. Right?
@sir-leeds, I haven’t written much, even though I feel I have written a whole library worth. The only thing I’ve really…[Read more]
