I didn’t think you googled it. 😀 I actually didn’t know he wrote scores like that…they are so awesome! (I love RMS Titanic.)
I am going to agree with you that smaller groups are better. I like the size our guild is too…I hope it stays small. I feel like we can get to know each other better that way. 🙂
I actually haven’t…[Read more]

Unique and realistic characters are something we all strive to write. No one wants to hear that the readers can’t connect or care for the characters we worked so hard on and spent so much time with. So we try to make them unique. We give them quirks and personality and struggles and fears and dreams and—
Hold on, Jane, what on earth does this hav…[Read more]

@cassie-hartfinh, Oh, I really like The Prince of Egypt soundtrack. Some of my favorites are: The Man from Snowy River; The Chronicles of Narnia: the Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe; Master and Commander; The Secret Life of Walter Mitty; and Saving Mr. Banks.
Yes, I’ve only read a couple of his books though. (This Present Darkness and Piercing…[Read more]

I just wrote this, and now it disappeared! I hate it when that happens!
Here goes another try!
@selah-chelyah Those last two books are really cool – highly recommended!
Actually, I meant Winfield Scott Hancock, a Union Civil War general. He was a neat guy. But I’m glad you like my favorites!
I am working on most of my stories right now, bu…[Read more] -

@selah-chelyah GA Henty is awesome! I…don’t know how many books I’ve read – definitely not all of them. But my favorites are The Cat of Bubastes, With Lee in Virginia, For the Temple, In the Reign of Terror, and Wolf the Saxon.
What are yours? How many have you read?

@literatureforthelight @ariella-newheart @selah-chelyah @ashira @chalice @everyone-else The funny thing is I’m writing all of these noble and fearless proclamations as I’m listening to the soundtrack of Beyond the Mask. It makes everything sound so much more epic.

@kb-writer, That’s a tough question, but I think I’m with @eden-anderson. New Wessex is pretty awesome. I think I can safely say it’s the best guild I’ve ever been in. 😉 Yeah, everything Eden said.
@the-fledgling-artist, Camp Artifex is pretty great. 🙂 We’ve had some wonderful discussions and everyone is really encouraging.
@evelyn, I agree! &…[Read more]

I think you can request a guild, but the actual guild you are assigned to is the decision of those in charge. I’m not one hundred percent sure, but that’s what I’ve gotten from what I’ve been reading. The “You should choose my guild” talk is just fun, but not necessary to act one. If anyone disagrees with me, I’m all…[Read more]

@selah-chelyah Cool, I’d love to read your second one, it sounds very interesting.

@selah-chelyah Great! I’ll send that out to you.
A warning though: you put your email out here where anyone can see it, and that could be dangerous on the internet. So if you have time (I think it’s five minutes from the time you post) you can probably edit your post to take it out. You don’t have to, I just thought I’d suggest it in case. ;)…[Read more]
