My sister wants to know if the book you’re reading is Joey?😊
Yeahhh…Mistie had the kitten-flu really bad, so now she’s blind. She is such a sweet though.

Hey all. I saw this at the bottom of page 1 and decided to save it from the archives.
So i haven’t been very active lately, but i have been working on my story, which now has about 58,000 words. When i’m done im going to upload the PDF here, that way it wont be a massive amount of pages.
How’re you all doing?

I’m fine either way. My current WIP is in first person, so if we do third person, I might be a little rusty at first, but I’ll try to smooth it out 😉

Ian stared into his campfire’s crackling flames. His eyes drifted close, but he snapped them open. They closed again, and he opened them once more.
Close, open. Close, open.
His head tilted forward as he nodded off. For a moment it looked as if he was going to fall into his campfire, but the sound of voices and horse hooves made him jerk up…[Read more]

Sure! That’d work nicely, too, if he’s in the prophecy-thing/has part of the map, IDC. Also, it’s been forever since I’ve read the story on the Wingfeather Website, so I kinda forgot where my character (human and named Ian, sorry for not mentioning before) would get the map/how he would know he’s in the prophecy? I mean, will the…[Read more]

*makes panicked gurgling noise* AAAAHHHHHHHHHH! So infinitely sorry! *throws self at your feet, sobbing* Can thou EVER EVER find it in thine heart to forgive me? And the same with you all? *turns to everyone else, hands clasped together*
*ahem* Okay, so…that was my dramatic reaction for the night.
EVERYONE:
As I more or less…[Read more]

Aww! Farewell, Kiark and Wylo! You were awesome!
Kiark: Thank you, dear lady! *bows* Wylo: *says nothing at all and just walks away* 😛
Please tell me when/if you need beta-readers/critique partners! The little hints I’m getting at the plot are fascinating and I’d LOVE to read it!
Aw, thank you so much!! I’ll definitely keep…[Read more]

Nithel took a step nearer Alessio, and planted himself there. He wanted to be near his friend. But realizing what that might have looked like, he looked toward Isaac and nodded.
Nithel began readying his mind to treat Isaac like a leader. He didn’t feel anything from the man, he couldn’t read him. Like Gabrel, though their personalities were…[Read more]

You and Rose say Dancrow, so Dancrow it is!!! I’m actually glad, bc I think he is the one who needs most of the development out of the 3. 😉
IKR!? Every time I mention to my family that a character ‘surprised me’ or I ‘found out something new’ or they ‘won’t cooperate’, I get comments like “But.. You thought the…

Liorah buried her head into my shoulder and I hugged her tighter. She was here, and she was alright. That was all that mattered. I let out a quivering breath, letting the tension slip away. As she took a step back, she limped. In the amazement of seeing her, I had barely noticed she was hurt.
“Are you okay?” I asked,
Liorah…[Read more]

WOW. Oh, wow. That was intense. I feel so sorry for her 😭 Poor thing! As far as I understand, her greatest fear is that she might harm Ehud, or that she’s too broken to ever be loved. Oh, goodness!😭
Ehud held up a cat that was trying to scratch his eyes out, but for reason this idiota thinks that’s an endearing t…

Thank you so much! I love how Liorah is really
bossyconfident, but she’s actually so insecure. I discovered that pretty recently, so I have to change a lot of things in the book.LOL! Don’t you just love it when your characters surprise you? Like I read in an article on here, we should actually call our characters “people” bec…[Read more]

“Do…In your world do people usually have…powers or are accepted with their powers?”
Nithel looked toward his friend. The youth spoke as if he knew of magic. As if powersshould be accepted. OR at least he wished they were.
What did he mean by power– Nithel’s lips tightened against each other.
“Yes,” Brendin set down the book and raised his s…[Read more]

Hey cool I know two different songs called Monster too (neat lyrics all of them btw Brendin and Alessio should get on great with each other). There’s Monster by Skillet (with Sick of It and Back From the Dead to go with it) and Monster from the Broadway Frozen (cos I scavenge songs from Disney movies whether or not I’ve see…[Read more] -

Before Alessio could finish purging the book Brendin snatched it away from him.
“What are you–” He halted staring anxiously at the page Brendin opened. Alessio wasn’t completely sure he’d ripped his own page out yet and he wanted the book back before anyone could read it. Someone called ‘Avatus Coryphaeus’ and he had wings…? Maybe that wasn’t all…[Read more] -

Alessio passed the book to Virtus. Nithel stood quietly behind Alessio, waiting.
“I was looking for any maps or clues about this place. The most effectual means of finding a way out would be to accumulate resources and systemize a strategy based off that.”
Nithel blinked once, Such strange words. He had never met someone who spoke that way. Ale…[Read more]
