Hey everybody, this stuff looked really fun and cool and I would love to join in. Could someone tell me where it’s moved to now?

Heads up. We’re moving the guilds to the archives. You’ll still be able to access old posts, but you won’t be able to make new ones.

Hello, all! It seems like ages since I’ve last been on here, and I’m sure I’m missing some tags for my former beta group…if so, I’m sorry. ::P I’m tagging what I hope is all of you who currently have access to my book even if you have not read it yet, and probably some of you who don’t. I know there’s gotta be a couple of you tagged who haven’t…[Read more]

I’m interested. I’m not writing nearly as much as I used to (or reading, even though I have at least a dozen novels on my shelves I haven’t read yet). I have a website (I call it a #blogsite because I use it mostly to talk about how I’m failing miserably as a writer) and even that’s only sporadic. I might get there more often if I knew people were…[Read more]

I don’t know you, but it seems we’ll get along.
I’m Sarah–Inkdragon, that is. Or you can call me Sink. (Long story.) Whichever is more useful when in the middle of writing a long and arduous paragraph. I tend to hold the deep sense of sarcasm, general laziness(Well, not laziness, per se, but rather a like for doing nothing physically…[Read more]

So, might you even consider these to be foil character traits?
I agree with @i-david that this deals mainly with the perversion of what is good – let’s take a look at it in the sense of basic economic theory. In economics, we have these magical things called incentives. Incentives are exactly what they sound like – an external or internal…[Read more]

Hey SE people!
We’ve launched a cool new feature on the forum called groups.
You can find them in the nav bar like so:
Groups are hubs for writers to gather around something they share in common. They include a Facebook-like feed and most of them also include their own forums.
So far there are three types of groups:
1. Word war…[Read more] -

@I-david Speaking of Sanderson and D.O.Ds, what do you think of Vin from Mistborn? She definitely fits the description of a D.O.D, but there’s a lot more to her character than just fighting prowess.

@i-david AGH, yes! I totally get that. I can be (almost literally) bouncing off the walls happy at times, but I can also take deep dives down. Usually when that happens, I’m beating myself up inside and being snappish and irritable to those around me (especially my little brother) (and then beating myself up about that).
ANYway, yeah, I’ll have…[Read more]

I really don’t want to mess this up.
I asked for help before, but that was with specific questions for INFP guy characters. Now I’m just looking for suggestions like “don’t do this or it’ll be unrealist…[Read more] -

Hey guys. I’m sorry it’s been so dead around here. Definitely a large portion my fault. Kind of hard to keep a guild running when the guild master falls off the face of the earth.
However, it has come to my attention recently that this is not relegated to Knaphollow only. A couple of the guild’s are completely without leaders, most are floun…[Read more]

Well if you’ve got a passion for music, then pursue it!! It’s extremely rewarding to be able to make music…
Not at all!

Why does that not surprise me (since you’re an INFP)?
Yes… a good pianist is so much help… BUT! I will say if you can learn some basic chord progressions it would probably help you a ton. You can do a lot with simple chords… And they aren’t hard.
Good for you!! And same with me… I’m learning the classical style… which…[Read more]
