@dragongeek That’s a great goal to help you start writing consistently. 😀 Good luck!

@christianna-hellwig Good job! 😀 *showers you with confetti*

@jenwriter17 Alright! Thanks for letting me know. 🙂

@Fawxofthecomics I understand. I hope you have fun on your vacation! 😀

@dragongeek Oooh, I like that about the details and things the characters would specifically notice.

Random idea: What if the character is experiencing a big event, like being proposed to, giving his daughter away at a…[Read more]

@serenity Sorry it took me so long to reply! I didn’t see your topic. XD Sometimes, it’s helpful to tag four or five people when you start a new thread to make sure someone sees it. 🙂

The most common POVs are first person past and present tense and third person past tense. Then there’s omni POV of course. 🙂

Why do you think you are struggling…[Read more]

@wordsmith XD Your post made me laugh. Of course we can be friends! Outside of the guild wars, that is. Once the war starts, you are my sworn enemy. *nods solemnly* 😛

@millennium-m Guilds are assigned a writing prompt and must create a piece based on that prompt during a writing prompt guild war. The prompt could be something like, “write from…[Read more]

@katthewriter All in all, what sort of blog you have and how you blog depends on your goal. If you want to build a platform, there are a bunch of tips out there about it, and I could give you some recourses. But, if you simply want this to be personal and not as focused, the how-to part differentiates between bloggers. 🙂 I’d follow R. M.’s a…[Read more]

@law0413 Yay! 😀 That’s awesome. 🙂

@katherineh Niiiice. 😀 I’m currently working on the first book of a fantasy trilogy called Ridgeline. 🙂

@anne-of-lothlorien I understand, though I’m sad to see you leave. School and life take priority. 🙂 You don’t have to withdraw or anything, that stuff happens on the guildmaster side of things. I wish you luck with your senior year!

@millennium-m I haven’t had the chance to watch either. *weeps quietly*

Also a small tip I should have mentioned: When you create a post, it may be helpful to tag a few people to make sure someone has seen it. Not everyone, of course. Just a few. 🙂

@serenity Those are some good questions. 🙂 I’d suggest starting a separate topic for them under Avensbeck General Writing Discussions and tag a few Avensers so they see it 🙂

@serenity *grins* Yay! It makes me happy that you’re excited. 😀

@miriam-smith Sounds cool! I’ve heard of that author before. 🙂 Sherlock Homes is pretty great, too. 🙂

@katherineh Ooo, awesome! Writing a long book is a big accomplishment. What’s your current WIP called?

@supermonkey42 I gotcha. I’m sad to see you go, but I understand. If life does slow down, don’t be afraid to mention Avensbeck when you reapply. If you want to be in Avensbeck, I might be able to get Daeus to let me steal you back. 🙂
