I admit I haven’t read your first two parts of your course either. But if that isn’t a problem for you, I’m still happy to beta your part three and I should definitely be able to give you feedback within two months.

@daeus-lamb I’m afraid that it won’t work this time. I enjoy beta reading and editing though, so I’d love to do something like this if it ever works with my schedule!
Have a blessed week, and the Lord be with you and use you and this curriculum for His glory!

Lately I have been contemplating whether there is a pattern to the type of stories that I like to read/write. Not in terms of genre but in the “ordinariness” of the characters (average Joes like you or me vs characters who are bestowed all sorts of great powers/destinies/heritages by authors like you and me) and the level of stakes involved (e.g.…[Read more]

Hey guys.
It’s me.
I haven’t seen you people since last year. How y’all been doin’? Long time no see… XD

I’m supposed to keep track of this, aren’t I…

@daeus-lamb I just saw that you also read The Book Thief. What an incredible book. What did you get from it? I was reminded of the horror that WWII inflicted on everyone–not just on the Jews but on everyone who was touched by it. And Death had many incredible insights that I want to mull on and process for quite a long time.

Whoa!! I was not expecting this… *giggles nervously*
Okay, this is kinda cool. Hmm, I guess I’ll share a bit about myself first.
I’m in tenth grade, and I’ve loved writing pretty much for forever. But only this year I’ve started writing seriously, and I recently finished my first draft of my story. It is the only story I’ve ever…[Read more]

This is a good idea, but I didn’t come up with it. I should have said that at the beginning. I actually got it from Taylor and Evelyn. 😉
Ooh! You write newspaper articles? That’s so cool!
I like Lamplighter too…especially their audio dramas.
Those are some good goals! 👍
Okay! Good to know that! Thanks.

Hey guys!
HAPPY NEW YEAR!
One more day and 2019 will be here. 2018 will be gone forever. It’s a good time to reflect on where we’ve come from and where we are going.
So, that’s what this thread is about. I thought if might be fun to tell eachother what we accomplished in 2018 and what some of our goals are for the coming year.
Let’s talk about…[Read more]

@daeus-lamb I wholly agree with that. If anyone writes a chosen one with dentures, let me know because I am going to read it. XD
@scarletimmortalized YES. THE MENTOR NEEDS TO LIVE. There are too many stories with mentors dying 😛

@daeus-lamb Well, just thought I’d pop in and share an thought. If the guild masters need help maybe they could a guild assistant(?). Then they don’t have to do everything and not so much pressure on them. IDK. *shrug* Just an idea.

@daeus-lamb Despite any kinks that still need to be worked out, I think all the other Emberlings would agree with me when I say that I’m very thankful to you and all the other Guildmasters (Plus Josiah too!) who have put so much effort into making this place so amazing! I hope we didn’t come off as too complainy. Really, thanks so much! This is…[Read more]

Wow, Eden, thanks for asking such an honest question and for asking my thoughts on it. I would say two things, having been a guild member in Meraki since its creation at the end of May earlier this year: 🙂
First, my thoughts would be that you should do what makes sense for you right now. If you have m…[Read more]
