@ericawordsmith I only have two younger brothers, but I don’t have any sisters, so I’ve grown up mostly around guys except for a half-dozen or so close girl friends at church. 😉 In general, my brothers are messy, though one is definitely tidier than the other.
Also, I worked at the Indiana State Fair last summer, and even though the guys and girls dorms were divided, they were right across the hall from each other, so we heard a lot of what went on over there. Basically, none of the guys were able to get any sleep until after the midnight curfew (which was strictly enforced) due to a group of rowdy guys (probably about 40% of the guys, but they were a loud minority). If you took away the rowdy guys, the dorm would have been alright.
I’ve also been inside a couple of guys dorms on college tours; one was nice and orderly, the other was a mess once you left the lobby. XD
I think what each situation boils down to is the personality of the people more than their gender. I would suggest developing the personalities of a few of the guys for your personal reference, even if they aren’t main characters, and then constructing the dorm environment from that. 🙂

I have a couple of scenes and poems I’ve been wanting to write (and I’m done with the newspaper for the semester), so maybe I’ll actually be able to contribute this time. 🙂

@daeus-lamb For once, I can actually say yes. 😀 I just finished my last big college project for this semester (I still have finals left, but they’re a week away and I’ve already been doing a lot of reviewing so it should be fine). If you send it to me, I will post a review by the end of tomorrow (barring unforeseen tragedies or loss of internet).
Looking forward to it!

@eden-anderson First of all, I want to say that I would completely understand if you decided to leave. It has been a bit dead the last couple months. 😛
Secondly, I’m very glad you’re not leaving. *hugs you* Hopefully things will pick up soon! If you ever want to talk about something or have a question, I can’t guarantee I’ll have an answer, but I can guarantee I’ll give you an honest response. 😉

@selah-chelyah I am completely with @eden-anderson; I hope you aren’t offended, but your post reads very much like a scam. I think your best move at this point would be to explain, here on the forum, what is going on. I doubt that many people will give you emails, and if you truly want to help people, it seems strange and suspicious that you wouldn’t be willing to post about the problem here.
I want to believe you and I hope this can be cleared up quickly; please don’t be angry with us for being wary.

@mariposa THIS IS AMAZING
Also, thanks for giving me the opportunity to get in some target practice. I’ve been needing to do that. 😉
Looking forward to a possible sometime-future sequel! 😀

Very well done!
Thanks for the tag @Mariposa!

*gapes* I… I’m in a SE story… *happy shriek*
THANK YOU SO MUCH!!! You literally just made my day. *hugs you*
And it’s great. I can’t wait to see what happens next! 😀

*bites lip* *raises hand shyly* I… kind of do. I really like copying things, especially flowers. And I love drawing geometric designs, 2D and 3D. Sometimes I attempt people. The faces… never work. 😛 But thanks to a very helpful post on the blog of @ethryndal, hopefully I can make some improvements soon! 😀
I’ll put a picture or two on here soon. 🙂

@christieaton *coughs awkwardly* actually… I didn’t recognize it at first, I just liked it because it accurately describes how I act sometimes. But after you said that I googled it and as soon as I saw the results I remembered it. ;P
So I didn’t recognize it right away, but I do now… but I’m also sure you’re not the only one. And I’m nerdy about other things… we’ll have to talk Lamplighter/Mysterious Benedict Society sometime. 😉

@christieaton Thanks so much! Also, I just have to say that I love your signature. I’ve never thought of that as a mood before, but it sounds about right. 😀

@hope-ann *blinks* Deary me. I almost didn’t recognize you through that sarcastic mask. XD
Yes. We should meet. Capital idea. XD

@elizabeth Oh, never mind. I see it in your signature. XD

@elizabeth ENFJ, though I sometimes switch to ENTJ (especially if I know we’re going to be watching a sad movie and I don’t want my emotions to become overwhelming… 🙁 ). Definitely ENFJ though. 🙂 How about you?

@rolena-hatfield Welcome to the tree! They’re such peaceful places, aren’t they? (until a spider crawls across your hand or falls into your lap… *shudders*)
That’s exciting! They’re amazing ministries and I can’t wait to see how the Lord uses this one. I’ll certainly let you know how it goes; the more prayers the better. 🙂
