I would guess that your second one is indeed Sanguine. Because your first is phlegmatic it likely counteracts an extroverted nature. Also, some people simply don’t display all signs of their temperaments. Here are some other things to help confirm our guess.
Do you lose things easily? If yes you may be sanguine
Are you organised? If…[Read more]

So, I’m afraid I made a big mistake. I could use some recommendations (see below).
I have this free book I give to people who join my email list (see here: http://thescratchingquill.com/the-golden-ziggurat/). I’m planning to experiment with paid ads, driving traffic to that page. When people subscribe, I’ll market them a book. The hope is that…[Read more]

I’m glad you enjoy this. Temperaments are one of my favorite topics. I also find the affects of birth order fasinating. Here are some more things to look for to figure out temperaments.
Choleric: Very independant and don’t want help with anything. They can be seen as control freaks. Their goal is to do things by themselves.
note: I…[Read more]

Glad to see someone is watching. You said this was new to you so I assume that you don’t know what temperament you are. Here is a brief overview of each.
Choleric: The doer of the four temperaments. Someone with pure choleric temperament is usually a goal-oriented person. People with    choleric personality type are very savv…[Read more]

@piperbee I think the beauty of second person is that although we are talking to the reader, we can make them into whoever we want them to be for the story’s purpose. i.e. “After your mom died, you found yourself taking up her sword and hunting orcs in the forests that bordered your family’s lands.”
I kind of found a better understanding from…[Read more]

Yes, I recomend all his other books. Aside from the Ranger’s Apprentice series my favorites of his would be Brotherband Chronicles and Ranger’s Apprentice the Early Years.

So great to meet someone elso who loves Ranger’s Apprentice. Have you read any of John Flanagan’s other books? I first found Ranger’s Apprentice when I was wandering around a vendor hall looking for new books. I saw Ruins of Gorlan and bought it right then and there. I liked it instantly, but was really sold on the series when I met…[Read more]

Ooh, this sounds…fun…?! Also, quite hard. 😛
@bama-rose I had to do the exact same thing! Here I call myself a writer and I don’t even know what writing in the second person means! *face-palm*

Hey guys, I’m tagging everyone I can remember who helped me with my short story Silicon Heart — the one with the robot named Q-37. I just realized I don’t have a synopsis! And…I need one soon.
Oops.
So here goes.
Q-37 is fascinated with human psychology. Given the chance to help a troubled little girl, he jumps on the opportunity. But when…[Read more]

Hey guys,
Let’s do something RADICAL.
(That’s what Saxon Scribes do. Am I right?)
Let’s write a story in second person!
They say you can’t do it. They say don’t do it.
I’m like, “What are they trying to hide? 2nd person must be amazing!”
Anyway, I’m willing to give it a try. That’s what our newest prompt war is about: write a story in second…[Read more]

I get all of that, to one degree or another. There’s a quote you and @bama-rose made me think of:
“If you think you’ve blown God’s plan for your life, rest in this: You, my beautiful friend, are not that powerful.” – Lisa Bever
But still, we don’t want to use His sovereignty as an excuse to just blow things off and do…[Read more]

@bama-rose I know, it’s scary. And I know sometimes people do make the wrong choices when they’re not listening to God, and I’ve always been afraid of that. I sometimes think it might have been easier to decide to go to college… then I would actually know what I was doing for the next four years! 😀 But I’m not, so… I’ve got time on my hands…[Read more]

Hope you enjoy the authors!
