@Dakota @emberynus-the-dragonslayer
Thought I’d share one of my characters. Her name is Kayla, and she’s my MC’s younger sister. She’s a sweet girl with a fighter heart who struggles with being the middle-child, and living in her brother’s shadow.

@joelle-stone Thanks for recommending it. I’ll have to read it sometime.
@rebekah12 Mistie is so cute. I have a brother that is allergic to cats, but so far we haven’t had any trouble.😁
I love LOTR (the movies included). I haven’t see the Hobbit yet, though. Is it good? I’m a diehard Frodo fan, but I also love Aragorn, Gandalf, Eowyn, and of…[Read more]

Like always, this is such a good question.😄
I think for me, the thing that turns me off is stupidity without reason. In life, people make wrong choices, but they always do it for a reason. Characters that just can’t get a grasp on reality are so frustrating. I honestly don’t care how many bad choices a character makes, as long as I can…[Read more]

@joelle-stone My sister loved Joey.😄 Are you enjoying it?
@rebekah12 Mistie is a calico mix of grey, white, and orange. I’ll try to get a picture sometime.😁 Btw, I love your profile pic. Is it Legolas?

My sister wants to know if the book you’re reading is Joey?😊
Yeahhh…Mistie had the kitten-flu really bad, so now she’s blind. She is such a sweet though.

Hey guys!
Not much going on in my life. My family adopted a blind kitten, and I’ve been working more on art.
And…I was also part of the Writer Games this last month, which was really fun.😄
@crazywriter Who are you going for in the Super Bowl? I have two words: Boo Bucs.😂

Claire is right. Just go for it. Your art is really good.
I think most people just use PayPal, but I’m really not sure. That’s what I’ve used in the past.😄

Ella, probably, although I can imagine most of the family doing it.😄

Uncle Erik, and he’d probably do it just to horrify his sister-in-law.
Who would be the one who fell asleep before it turned New Years?

Arindown replied to the topic HELP my Character Wakes Up with no memory in the forum General Writing Discussions 5 years, 4 months ago
@lrc Hey! I’ll brainstorm for a second with you.😄 Just random ideas in random orders, I guess.
– Make memory loss part of your characters arc. For example, if your character was an Enneagram 4 (Enneagram is just way to tell personifies), their self-identity might be really important to them. Which could be a huge factor for conflict.
– What if…[Read more]

This is so good, Allison.
I think one of the most fascinating things about all great authors is their understanding of humanity, in all it’s details. How they blow us away with their characters is their knowledge of what it takes, and what it means, to be human.
I find that for myself, I’ve started to look to my friends and family to help me…[Read more] -

I’m glad I could encourage you.😊 And sure, I’ll post a few of my sketches…if you post a few of yours.😄
Here’s one I did in pencil of my friend during church.

Wow. That’s a hard one. I like to think that none of my characters would be that careless, but…😆 I can see Enan doing this, and then recruiting his uncle to help him hunt down the entire mafia when he found his mistake.
Who’d be the one that reads the end of the book first?
Kayla probably. Just to see if the beginning is going to be worth it.

Uncle Erik (again). Literally, he doesn’t have enemies. Everyone likes him, but everyone has their “Erik, enough” moments.😄
Who would be the one who has a sugar, I-stayed-up-too-late, rush after a party?
I feel like Ella does that sometimes. Just gets super giggly and wild.

I just found it on the internet. You don’t even have to download it or anything. Just sign in and start designing.
If you use it, I’d love to see what you did.😊 You could finish off the Wingfeather crew.

Thanks guys! I used ArtBreeder to create the characters. It’s a lot of fun, but I’d be careful…some of the images aren’t so wonderful, depending where you click.😄

I think what everyone else said is true. Creating a good character isn’t about personality, it’s about (as Abbie Emmons always says) internal conflict. If you can create believable emotions, you can create believable characters. It really doesn’t matter what they’re like otherwise, or how “different” they are, if a reader can relate to their…[Read more]

Who would be the most likely to love snow?
Probably Ella. She’s an artist girl.
