The Fledgling Artist

@scarletimmortalized

These time periods/wars were very violent and I think it would take away from the story to exempt all violence…that wouldn’t be telling a true story anyway. I think it’s about balance and how you portray violence.

When writing his-fic, especially his-fic, I think it’s very important that you write/portray history a…[Read more]

@the-fledgling-artist Glad you like it. She sounds very interesting! (:

@the-fledgling-artist The first one is one of my favorites! I like the second one too. Can’t wait for the third (:

@the-fledgling-artist here’s a little Mira portrait. I’m kinda curious about her story now! (:

@the-fledgling-artist aaahh I love Hiccup! You can really see the improvement. You drew him so well (:

@chalice Woah that’s great! the fur looks so much better and everything looks a lot more realistic!

@the-fledgling-artist She could have something they need, such as knowledge they don’t have, and she’s then useful to them even if she can’t otherwise help and they don’t trust her.

@the-fledgling-artist, Yeah, it might be because I’ve only seen your watercolor art, though. 🙂

I like the painting of Hiccup. Your colors are definitely a lot richer in the later one, but the two are done in different mediums, aren’t they?

Here’s my reworking of an old drawing from about five years ago.

@the-fledgling-artist, Cool, I thought it looked like watercolor or markers the first time I saw it. XD

@the-fledgling-artist @ashira thanks!

@chalice thank you! Both are digital art, made using a wacom tablet and photoshop (:

@the-fledgling-artist, Is this the one you did in colored pencil?

@lin, Wow, that’s a big improvement! I really like your style. What did you use to create the later one?

@Chalice

Thank you!!! I wanted to do deeper shading but I don’t have watercolor paper so I used sketchbook paper and I was scared it would bleed through if I put too many layers. But thank you!!!!

@The-Fledgling-Artist

Thank you again!!! It is not my character sadly, it was a fanart of The Enchantress from The Land of Stories bk. 2. So yes she…[Read more]

I’m a newbie but I posted my 4th watercolor for critique on here if you’d like to see it. May I see some of your paintings??

I do not have a pet sadly, I sooooo wish I had a dog tho. I used to have a guinea pig but I wasn’t giving him the love and attention he needed so I gave him to a friend.

@the-fledgling-artist

I’m not sure, still…[Read more]

@the-fledgling-artist I love your drawing style so much! Maybe I’ll try to draw Mira. I really like her design!

Does anyone have any characters for me to draw? I’m a bit tired of drawing the same old thing all the time XD

The art guild isn’t full, the person to contact would be @Daeus. If you are a serious artist and want to join. You should be able to sign up through the regular guild registration.

@turtleshavetoes 😮 You’re Fledge’s sister?? That is so cool! Welcome to ye olden Forums! 😀

So, all three of y’all are sisters, huh? @itisastarrynight @the-fledgling-artist Are you all artists?

Turtle is 21, Fledge is 18 (I had no idea!!! We’re actually closer in age than I initially thought! :D), so how old is Ara?
