I’m a little late in starting to post Christmas songs but here’s on for this week. This one was inspired by a package of Christmas cards I got for my birthday.
Here is a picture of one. I added some decorations 🙂 Enjoy and Merry Christmas!!!!
It’s Christmas Y’all!
Snowflakes aren’t drifting to the ground
But oh my! isn’t it cold outside!
Wish white would build up all around
So that we could go for a sleigh ride
Oh, horse, it’s Christmas time again
So there’s no reason for complainin’
I’ve been writin’ out some Christmas cards
So I can warm up some far off hearts
Givin’ thanks for all we got ’round us
For our work and our way of livin’
For friends and family we hold precious;
We’re wishin’ y’all a Merry Christmas!
Christmas lights twinklin’ all o’er town.
A bright tree on every main street.
Wreaths of holly make the halls jolly
Those tinklin’ sleigh bells sound oh! so sweet!
Oh, ya’ll it’s Christmas time again
And there’s plenty of thanks to be givin’
I’m tangled in ribbon and bows
Just warmin up some fam’ly tradtion.
Go out and throw a snowball fight!
Go carolin’ all over the town!
Cookies for the function! Get up gumption
To cook a turkey like Grandma did!
Oh, ya’ll it’s Christmas time again
And there’s plenty of thanks to be givin’
Jesus was born a humble King
This is the reason for the song I sing
