The Fledgling Artist

Eiri’s eyes immediately locked onto the footprint trail. “Apparently. So… shall we go then?” She cast questioning glances at Tyler, Scarlet, Matz and Kor. Then at the new man, unsure as to whether or not he would let anyone accompany him. She hoped he would. She wanted to make sure Jake was alright too. Not so much the crazy maniac lady…[Read more]

@the-fledgling-artist 25 cards?! 😮 Wow! I hope your hand survived through all that. 😉 What did the cards look like? I’d love to see a picture of one! 😃

I’ve been working on the story for about 3 years now. It was originally  just a silly story I posted on an old blog of mine and then it grew into so much more. 😊 I’m almost done with it, but I’…[Read more]

@the-fledgling-artist Thank you. ^.^
I went through a few drafts before realizing that I was using some tropes(that can’t be removed without changing the plot massively… cause I have Chosen Teens(*cough*), Both of (one) MC’s parents are dead(my friend told me that since this effects the plot majorly it’s okay. *grins from the shadows*), and…[Read more]

@eden-anderson @the-fledgling-artist @kay @chalice I’m so excited about this guys!

I probably won’t be able to do one each week, but I’ll definitely participate. 😀

@the-fledgling-artist It is! Thank you. At least I had the right album. *hums Cave In* 😀

@theinconceivable1 Alright I found some for you to guess. 🙂

@chalice @itisastarrynight I love these! They are both very cute. I see a lot of great technique in yours chalice. Don’t you just love how simple lines in the right place can make the wrinkle in a shirt look real?

Ara I love your illustrations! You need to share more of your work! You have a similar style as @the-fledgling-artist but the…[Read more]

@catwing Ooh, cool to see the whole thing!

@the-fledgling-artist Nice one!

@ashira Aberdeen has lots of ideas for more Raiders of the Lost Arc—but whether he actually gets around to writing them, I don’t know (especially since I’m going to be overworking him the next 3 months 😜🦖).

@evelyn Ack! You’re right! Aberdeen told me that “roar” actually translates to “goodbye” or “good morning” (depending on how loud or quiet t…[Read more]

@the-fledgling-artist, Thank you! I was actually planning on doing orange, but I thought purple would work better for this picture.

@itisastarrynight, Oh, thank you! I don’t think I’ve seen any of your art before, but I really like your painting!

@the-fledgling-artist

Okay, sure that makes sense! I say let’s just do whatever and if we do want to make a schedule sometime in the future we can…😀

Shall we make a specific thread for it?

@chalice @kay

@the-fledgling-artist @theclumsy_lamplighter Sorry y’all, I couldn’t find the other post *oops*. There is no time crunch whatsoever. I write in my spare time too and skip parts I can’t think of on the spot (usually descriptions) so I can go back to them.

Should I give you some basic descriptions here or how does this work? (Sorry I’m new and…[Read more]

@the-fledgling-artist My WIP is about these six friends who end up going on a quest for a King they thought was dead and looking for three jewels. Basically. 🙂

ALEX! *throws you feathers* I love it! The second is definitely her(cause she is a sad, troubled character. 🙁 But they both look amazing! Maybe someday she can smile like that…). *nods…[Read more]

The all-nighter wasn’t it the problem it was the 36 hours that turned into 38 hours!! I knew I was going to do it a few days before so I rested up extra😉

@theclumsy_lamplighter Fortunately, none that I can think of. What nuts are you allergic to??

@the-fledgling-artist I love the way you draw faces and expressions. Also, your gouache painting looks really great! I feel her arms are a little to big and her feet a little to small, but this could just be your style. Also, did I mention I like the way you draw faces (because I really, really, do). The wolves look super cute btw. I think the way…[Read more]

Hey everyone!

Just popping in to throw some ideas and tips out. 😉

@the-fledgling-artist, Actually, so far I think I’ve only had to do one for each time. She’s not extremely picky, so it’s pretty nice. 🙂
