The Fledgling Artist

@the-fledgling-artist
AAAH That’s great Fledge<3 I’m so glad you’re looking into it cause your work is so good!

As for my portfolio, I use wordpress! Which can be a bit tricky when getting started because it’s mainly build for blog posts and doesn’t work like an online gallery. However there are ways to make it work, I watched lots of youtube…[Read more]

@the-fledgling-artist I don’t have any experience with blogs at this point, and while I haven’t put together my own professional portfolio yet, I do know a couple things about it. I’m happy you are doing this.

The biggest thing is to be sure that you select pieces that really show your own style, that are full, completed pieces (one or two…[Read more]

@the-fledgling-artist

was just about to do some sketches…

@the-fledgling-artist Well I use WordPress.com (apparently at least slightly different than WordPress.org I found out. I know it’s kinda weird. Like what with that? *Shrug*)
I looked at the themes and there are some that look like they might work for an artist portfolio. (I think. There are some that center on pictures at least. Like this.)
I used…[Read more]

Hey, @the-fledgling-artist and @everyoneelse, I have an idea that I intend to write for Kare, which will hopefully also help begin to setup this endgame against Mr. Sandy. Wi hopefully write and post within the next couple days. Fingers crossed!

What you said was pretty helpful. 🙂
I graduated recently so some friends from where I moved came over for that. So that was really nice. I think I’m starting to see that I am making friends. Slowly, but I am doing it. So that’s also nice.

You had asked for the summary…[Read more]

@kari-karast I generally compose piano solos, but if it’s not a piano solo, I use whatever sounds good/fits best 🙂 Fine. I’ll compromise and list a few of the authors I like or used to like XD This is not in order of how much I like them, just as they come to mind: J.R.R. Tolkien, Brandon Mull, John…[Read more]

Thanks! She’s certainly fun to draw and write, that’s for sure! Ryul is a character I’ve had lying around for a while as a scrapped character for my fantasy WIP, and he’s a fun kid to write so I figured, hey, why not stick him in here? Plus, he like airplanes and other steampunk stuff so I get to draw that. XD (Also, I may…[Read more]

Thank you! I was going to post some more finished drawings earlier, but I haven’t been able to do much digital art lately because my pen pressure has been going nuts and finals are coming up, but I’m glad you enjoyed this! I’m going to try to get some up in my own topic for people to follow along with soon. 😉

@the-fledgling-artist @lin @everyone else that I missed because I’m too lazy and dumb to remember your tags(sorry! XD)

Y’all were curious, so here’s a rough sketch of the MC for my comic 😉 I’m currently trying to come up with a way to draw the characters without having to take forever for each sheet, but still have them in my style. It’s coming…[Read more]

@the-fledgling-artist GURL, it is WAY better than falling in love with the world and losing sight of eternity. There’s a blessing in every trial, tbh. xD And it’s certainly okay that you’re not completely better yet, like I’ve said. <3 These things take time. It’s good to know that you feel you’re in a better place though, even if it’s just the…[Read more]
