No, I did not hear about that! 😀 Wait, is it one of stories based on one of the other kingdoms? One of the more medieval English ones? Because if so, maybe I have heard of it… @writercatherine

Sure, definitely! πŸ˜€ I’m still only on the third chapter though–ran into some scheduling turbulence so to speak. Can’t wait to read more though. I left several comments on the doc…did those come through?

*gasps* I just read the prologue and chapter 1. O-O *is hooked* I have to run for tonight, but I’ll be back. πŸ˜‰

  • April J. Rhys posted a new activity comment 3 weeks, 3 days ago

ACK! *gasps* I’m finally back here and I’m gonna read the first chapter tonight! πŸ˜€ #solookingforwardtothis Do you have any major questions or anything you’d like me to especially look out for while reading? Apologies again for the delay. :]

That is totally fine. :] I’m really inactive right now too. Just too many cool things going on. <:]

Thank you so SO much for recommendations! I'll definitely keep an eye out for those. Oh man, Rebel of the Sands is one of my favorites. <3 Thanks!

  • @ryowildfire

Ooo, that’s a good idea, getting the comics in bulk like that! :] Sounds like I should probably give them a try! Whisper and Tangle sound like interesting characters…maybe I can incorporate them into my Retelling as lowkey background Rebels. πŸ™‚

I’m not for certain why, but I think some fans didn’t like him because he changedsome…[Read more]

  • @ariella-newheart Actually, this story is very AU…in other words, the people who will probably get and enjoy it most are the ones who don’t know anything about the franchise. XD That being said though, I totally understand if you rather not/are too busy, etc.! πŸ™‚ Thank you for popping by the thread though!

@evelyn Thank you so much for your…[Read more]

AAH, yes, man, the echidnas are the best! πŸ˜€ I love Knuckles too. I was introduced to the Boom canon version of him first, which was unfortunate. XP Since then, I’ve learned about him more from other canons and he’s so hardcore. And I don’t know much about Julie-Su, but I can’t wait to read about her because I’ve seen alot of art of…[Read more]

  • @j-a-penrose Thank you so much! πŸ˜€ I thought I did make a project…*puzzled* is it saying I have not? (I still need to add some stuff, like cover and synopsis and excerpts and things, but I think it’s still up…)

  • Hello, Guild! πŸ˜€

So, I apologize, I haven’t been super active lately, but I thought I’d go ahead and try putting this up here in case it would interest people and someone had the time. I’ll just put up the first section since critiques are supposed to be short πŸ™‚ Right now, I have a pretty long critiquing cue, so I can’t critique any work in…[Read more]

YES!. *fistpumps* Thank you so much for letting me know, Ariella! So, I have already promised I’d do two other stories first. *wince* BUT they are short. Ish. So, I WILL get back to you on this asap. πŸ˜‰

  • @anne_the_noob XD XD Oh wow…sounds…riveting? (For real though, you said monsters. :}) I actually already have you on my critiquing cue! *happy bounce* There are three stories ahead of you, but hopefully I can read like the wind and lend hand out before the alpha process is over. XD

    @christianna-hellwig CHRISTIANNA. <3 <3 Oh GOOD, I was hoping…[Read more]

  • @elisha-starquill Aaah, I see what you mean! XD Flipping back and forth between hating and loving your story is quite frustrating indeed…Well, I’m rather new here still and I haven’t posted any of my own work here yet, but I think you could start a new thread somewhere in the guild! I hope to do that soon enough. If you do, please feel free to…[Read more]

  • I know this is late, but I decided to jump in super informally. XD @j-a-penrose If there’s still room, I’d love to be added. My username is A.J.Rhys. I have little to no info up about myself, but I’ll try to add more as things progress. πŸ™‚

  • April J. Rhys posted a new activity comment 3 months ago

AAAhh, I see. XD Out of date is fine by me. I will definitely keep an eye out for when you need beta readers though. I have your name down in my critiquing queue, so when I get to you, I’ll check back with you and see where you’re at. πŸ™‚
Thanks for offering! I will definitely tag you if/when I post something on here. Which I’m hoping will be…[Read more]

Thank you! πŸ˜€ I will! I may not be finished with my other critiques by then, so I may have to just in late. But better late than never, right? ;P

  • @elisha-starquill
I am SO SO happy to hear the Lord has led you here then. For me, One Year Adventure Novel was the first place I realized that stories were powerful and that our imaginations were gifts. And that when sanctified and used under the Holy Spirit, they can truly change lives and bring glory to God. I still have SO MUCH to learn in…[Read more]

XD That is a-okay. I often have the same problem. It takes me several minutes to think of how to best sum up a story to someone. <:-P Well, that case, just lemme know when you have a synopsis up! πŸ˜‰ I'm okay with typical stories so long as the characters are precious.

  • @writercatherine Hey! πŸ˜€ So I guess this is what we use in the place of a DM? Anyway, thanks for welcoming me and it’s great to meet you! How long have you been part of the guild?
Oh man, favorite book series is hard, but I would have to say probably Lloyd Alexander’s Prydain Westmark Trilogy or Lord of the Rings. It’s hard because I haven’t…[Read more]

    • Hi! I’m sorry; I’ve been really inactive here of late. I’ve been part of the guild now since… looks like August 25, wow!

My favorite right now is the Restoration series by Terri Blackstock. It’s the best Christian fiction I’ve ever read. Highly recommend that one. The Four Kingdoms series by Melanie Cellier is another great Christian Fiction…[Read more]

      • Ohh, those books! My dad read those to me and my siblings when we were younger! It’s been a long time.

      • That is totally fine. :] I’m really inactive right now too. Just too many cool things going on. <:]

Thank you so SO much for recommendations! I'll definitely keep an eye out for those. Oh man, Rebel of the Sands is one of my favorites. <3 Thanks!

      • Yay! Did you hear that she’s writing the Notorious Virtues? It’s something related to Rebel of the Sands, but I forget what.

    • No, I did not hear about that! 😀 Wait, is it one of stories based on one of the other kingdoms? One of the more medieval English ones? Because if so, maybe I have heard of it… @writercatherine

  • @fallen-prince I totally would, but I have like six other stories in the queue first. <:P So sorry, man, but your name is on, so I WILL come back to yours. πŸ˜‰

Also, condolences for your turtles. I missed this vital piece of information somehow.
