Hey SE people!
We’ve launched a cool new feature on the forum called groups.
You can find them in the nav bar like so:
Groups are hubs for writers to gather around something they share in common. They include a Facebook-like feed and most of them also include their own forums.
So far there are three types of groups:
1. Word war…[Read more]

I posted the link after I forgot to include it in the original post, but in case anyone has trouble finding it, here it is again: https://quinnofallon.wordpress.com/books/moonwatcher/ Links to each chapter are on that page.
@missfaeriekaiti got it!! Thanks!
I saw that no Rillumen members had responded yet so I thought I’d go ahead and tag y’all just in case anyone missed it.
I’ve spent moke time baking so far this week than writing.¯_(ツ)_/¯ I will definitely try to wring a couple of hundred words out of tonight though. Does anyone have a word goal for this week?…[Read more]
I guess I can’t be sure, but I assume Brandon has said goodbye to you? Well, not bye, but that he’s stepped down from guildmastering due to an overwhelming work load.
I wanted to step in on his behalf to let you know about the future of the guilds.
Many other among the guildmasters noticed that the job is mentally taxing and that…[Read more]
@corkybookworm @ariella-newheart Thanks, guys! I can’t wait to hear what you think of it. 🙂 I’m thinking about editing it some more and self-publishing it after I finish posting all of the chapters, so any critique you could give me would be great.
@wordsmith I understand. Sadly, there’s only so much a person can do in one day.
@missfaeriekaiti I’m so sorry! I haven’t had a change to open your story yet!!! *cries* Is there still time to read this and get back to you?
I can go to the Google Doc, but if you want to email me a file, I can try to put it on my kindle: email@example.com
Moonwatcher, my poor little serial story that I’ve been posting over on my blog, has been begging me to find more readers for it recently. So, since, you all like to read, who better to ask! Moonwatcher is a YA mishmash of sci-fi and dystopian with a healthy dose of action thrown in. If you’re interested, here’s the link to the first chapter and…[Read more]
@missfaeriekaiti Thanks. It’s the result of years of merging random stuff together.
I still need to work more on incorporating the festivals in to my story. The autumn one shows up, and the spring one might. I also need to name them properly. I’ve not got a name that flows well.
@missfaeriekaiti, at the start of the book, most of the people below have no idea why there is this waterfall always falling out of the sky, and they come up with all theories that try to explain, most of which are wrong. Most of the people on top don’t know about the worlds beneath and just think the world is flat. They don’t worry about where…[Read more]
@missfaeriekaiti Yup! That’s what I wondered! I…think I could manage in a month. I don’t suppose you can send a PDF can you? Or that and a Google Doc? I can read PDFs on my kindle and leave comments on Google Docs if necessary. I’ve never tried a txt file on a kindle, but I suppose I could. What kind of feedback are you looking for specifically?…[Read more]
@missfaeriekaiti I would! Do you have a time frame for it?
Oh my goodness! *blushes* that’s the best compliment ever!! Thank you! I am still working out the idea, but I also have a Man Who Walks With Stars which I’m kind of excited about. He lives high on a mountain in a bit of an Eden.
No! I haven’t. Hmm, that is quite intriguing. I’ll…[Read more]
@missfaeriekaiti Oh, cool! Training falcons is unique and definitely a cool touch.
Okay, so your wolves are kind of like selkies? That’s actually really neat. I love that idea!
Okay, the dabnors sound like I need more explanation and the legends story sounds like I need to be a beta!!! <3 That sounds ah-mazing!!!
Oh no!! Stay safe!!! Let us…[Read more]
@missfaeriekaiti The dabnors are a really cool concept! Hope you get evacuated safely.
I have two story worlds right now, so I guess I’ll do the one Moonwatcher is set in. (I don’t know if you remember, but Moonwatcher is the story I posted a blurb about for critique a little while ago.) I didn’t spend a ton of time on worldbuilding elements that…[Read more]
