@grace-tolkienista – Awesome, I’ll keep an eye out for Rithmatist in my library system. It’s one I haven’t read yet. As for the Writing Excuses recommendation, I’m not sure if I have a favorite episode, but all of Season 10 was SUPER helpful because they basically walk us through the stages of writing a book, spending a solid month on each part.

@brandon-miller Ugh. Reality. Sometimes I wish I could I live in a world where everybody liked squirrels, ice cream was free and math wasn’t a thing.

@grace-tolkienista *waves hand* I’m a budding Sanderson fan, if that counts? I’ve read a solid amount of his stuff and can admit that the man is an amazing storyteller who has taught me much through Writing Excuses and his lectures on Youtube. But I’m not sure how deep I want to get into his books, as the amount of profanity makes me uncomfortable. x/

@grace-tolkienista YOU MET SANDERSON?! I’d probably still be proud of that fact 70 years down the road. I’ve read Steelheart and Firefight. But I’ve heard the Mistborn series is best. Haven’t gotten there yet. You?

I like to read a lot of genres, too, but mostly fantasy :D. Also, I write fantasy. Are you currently working on any writing projects?
