I was working on one of my shorts and realized that I was not really think about the setting, or even the description of characters.  So I was wondering though, what would be too much description of a character, or too much explanation of character? @faith_blum  Describing the setting is hard.  ;p That is really good advice though. One question. Do you have any tips for describing the characters room and having random things in the room that describe the character’s personality? How exactly do you do that?

Question: I’m having trouble putting my mentor, or even mentioning him in the first act. He comes around during the second act of course ( cause that’s when he starts mentoring ), and the third act ( though he doesn’t do as much mentoring in the third act then he does in the second act ), but before then…. nada.

@Faith_Blum  That’s cool, not sure how good I am. I mean, can read a little music, and I’m not terrible at playing, so that’s pretty good.

@Kay My favorite C.S. Lewis book would have to be The Chronicles of Narnia. Personally my favorite book in the series was ‘The Horse, and his Boy’.
