      This is the only blog I’ve been on so no. The only other place I’ve posted anything on is a site called Tank Encyclopedia. Even then that was comments.

      I think we still have five open slots. Feel free to jump in.

        Welcome aboard person with the cool pic!!!

        @wingiby-iggiby

        Oh I don’t (usually) write down other people’s emotions but I’ll spend little pockets of time sorting out like whether I’m frustrated because I’m frustrated or because I soaked in somebody else’s frustration. Then I can spend whole hours trying to figure out why this random person I probably only made eye contact with is frustrated and if there’s anything I can do to help.
        Have you ever had that thing where you find yourself upset just because the atmosphere around you is upset? (Or is that just me
surely I’m not the only one who does this?).
        Didya know that humans can actually smell fear they just don’t consciously register the smell, but that’s why you get this gut feeling of an “ominous feel”.
        Have you ever done the Sixteen Personalities test?

        “It’s pretty old, you can take it or leave it.” Ax Girl–or
how did you say her name?–offered a dry loaf of bread in a sort of awkwardly gruff way. Ehud had actually anticipated everyone blowing him off, he turned pink and stammered something incomprehensible even to him before sheepishly accepting. It must have been hard to sacrifice her own meager supply of food to a complete stranger. He fumbled trying to break it in half and it ended up snapping unevenly. Uncomfortably aware of everyone watching, Ehud handed back what seemed to him the slightly bigger half (if only by a couple millimeters) and gave her a quick, shy smile.
        “Cool accent,” he stuttered “thanks!”
        He shifted his weight from one foot to the other feeling like there was something unsaid that he had to say but he couldn’t remember what it was. He opened his mouth to say something, closed it and almost made a move as if he wanted to hug her but knew better than to try. So he stuffed the bread in his mouth, suddenly realizing he really was starved. His stomach was twisted into so many knots it hadn’t really registered how hungry he was especially with everything that had been going on. He knew it wasn’t healthy to eat too quickly after starving for a while; that’s how a lot of people rescued from Concentration Camps died. You can literally burst from inside to
his stomach hurt, no wait that was because he still had two books stuffed under his jacket.
        When he unzipped his jacket they tumbled out with a loud thud, loud enough to make a couple people jump and glare at him. Opting for just pretending he didn’t do anything, Ehud dropped crosslegged on the floor mechanically fumbling through the pages of the book because he was too overloaded with sensory information to do anything. Every finite detail of the past hour or so pingponged in his brain like neon lights. A lot of neon lights. With sound effects.
        Ax Girl–who did have a name but Ax Girl just came for naturally–she was in trouble. He got that distinct annoying gut feeling about it. Maybe she was lying about her name–No, that was ridiculous. So she was in trouble, but she was also really kind! (And had a really cool ax). There was something else but it was too murky to get anything on it. Who was she when she wasn’t in survival mode? He shook off the thought and tried to read. It was something about
something about earlier heroes

        Erin Murder of Intergalactic–International, why does he want to say Intergalactic?–Trade is
unstable. Grownups are unstable, a lot of them, he felt like she was running from something inside her, kinda like his mother he guessed. She left when he was four or five. Ehud visibly shook off the thought and glared at the page.
        Something about earlier heroes
oh, they were in the castle before them
I think. This was interesting, he really wanted to be able to read it.
        Was he supposed to be doing something?
        He couldn’t get a clear read on, Arab..no, Ahoe, Ahab! Well, he was a villain, or was he? No he was a villain, he just didn’t feel as unstable as Erin. And the fairy was a cadet, he was pretty nice, Ehud completely lost the fairy’s name.
        This was the tenth time he’d read this paragraph and he still couldn’t figure out what he was reading!!!
        Was he supposed to be doing something? He had the distinct feeling he’d forgotten something but he couldn’t remember what he’d forgot. He slammed the book shut very nearly hurling it across the room. Sighing disconsolately, he peeked into the second book, which appeared to be a picture book.
        “Hey this is where we are!” Ehud blurted out with his mouth full. “Lookit! Lookit!”
        He dashed to Ax Girl and almost pushed it into her face in his eagerness. She grabbed it mostly to get it away from her face while he crammed the last bite of bread into his mouth. Bobbing over her shoulder he pointed to the picture and it suddenly lit up.
        “I didn’t do it!”

          Thank you 😀  And I like yours as well — us fumbling human beings are often concerned and worried when there is absolutely no logical reason to be.

          Have you heard the song “Good Directions?” Thank God for good directions…. and turnip greens! 😛

          @joelle-stone

          Hey, yeah! Come’on! And, like Cathy stated, cool pic! *pause* what is it?

          @this-is-not-an-alien

          Yes! I will get frustrated at times just ’cause other folks around me are. But that is a great thing that you do (sorting your feelings) because sometimes you just have to get to the root of why you feel so, ya know, frustrated. And then you can help others. And no, I didn’t know we could smell fear! This makes me wonder if I should start sniffing the atmosphere everywhere we go, LOL. No, I’ve never done that test. What do you do?

          And Ehud’s reactions to things, I mean, they are so funny to read! Immediately he cries, “I didn’t do it!” XD

              Thanks! It’s a picture of lava flowing into the ocean. It’s from Bing. I was debating using my cover photo instead, but it didn’t fit as a profile pic as well. 🙂

                      @this-is-not-an-alien

                      Cool! An animation studio?! I’ve always thought it would be cool to do animation, but I don’t know if I have the patience. I like to draw, but my best drawings usually occur when I am just doing it for the fun of it, and am not really thinking that much about it (think I could say “it” again?) I also like to read! I don’t think you could be a writer that doesn’t like to read. Exercising is not my favorite thing to do. I like to swim, and when I go for walks, I like to do it in the early morning before it is 90 degrees outside. I also like outside activities, like camping and being pulled by a boat on a inflatable tube for half a day so when you wake up next morning you’re so sore you feel about 101 years old. I’m going to join an AHG (American Heritage Girls) troup, which I’m so excited about! We will do all kinds of outdoor stuff.

                              Alrighty!! Sounds good. 🙂

                              After Colma gave him the bread, Ehud/Mr. Talkative almost looked like he was about to hug her.  Colma tensed and promised herself that if he did she would throw him to the floor.  But instead, he shoved his last bit of bread in his mouth and plopped down, starting to flip through two books he had brought out of his jacket.

                              Mr. Talkative–or Ehud, she didn’t know which to refer to– seemed to be able to figure her out, to see straight through and examine her secrets and her motives.  She didn’t like that feeling.  She hated it when people started to peer past the mental walls she put up.

                              Orson had been like that.  He had always been able to identify the thoughts running through her head, like she was transparent.  He would understand what to do here.  He had been good with people, and he would probably know how to get out of
 wherever she was.

                              Colma shook herself out of her reverie.  This was no time to be taking a stroll down memory lane.

                              Instead, she focused on what Ehud was doing.  He was still staring at the page, though he didn’t seem to be concentrating.  For a second, Colma wondered if she should bring out her book that she had grabbed, but then realized she would seem like a fool because she couldn’t read it.

                              Suddenly, Mr. Talkative jumped to his feet and thrust the book into her face

                              “Hey, this is where we are! Lookit! Lookit!” he exclaimed, spewing crumbs into her face because his mouth was still full.

                              She ripped it out of his hands and held it away from herself, trying to see what he meant.  Then the book started glowing.

                              Colma jumped and dropped it, her eyes as big as saucers.

                              “I didn’t do it!” Ehud immediately yelped.

                              The book started shining brighter and brighter until it was so luminous it hurt to look at it. Colma shaded her eyes with her hand and peered at it.  What was happening?

                              So, I was thinking that maybe the book could teleport them or something to the room with the fountain that’s going to show them their worst fears and everything?  Just a thought, unless you guys have a better idea on why the book’s glowing and what’s gonna happen 😉  Up to y’all! 😀

                                Animation does look so cool once it’s done! But ah, who has the patience?

                                I’ll tell you what I know about AHG, but we’ve just started, and I don’t know much. I was in a troop when we lived in Illinois, but I was very young. Do my memory is drawing a bland blank.

                                Anyhow, you wear a uniform to the meetings — this troop meets once every week — and while there you work on earning your badges. There are so many badges — you’re bound to find one you want to earn. There’s photography and archery, for example. We’ll do fun activities and have a “chill” time, were we hang out and socialize without distancing, LOL

                                We will also have a bunch of special events, usually on a weekend, where we do cool activities: rock climbing, rafting, camping, etc. Awesome. Pure awesome.

                                Ooo! Teleporting! You just opened up a world of possibilities. The fountain is a great idea, but then *gulp* I had the idea of then entering a giant green house full of dinosaurs. I know, I know. I’m weird.

                                  And I like the idea!!!! The book would probably transport them there then, ’cause I doubt that’s something that they would stumble into, lol.  So, yeah, I vote yes on the idea.  What about the rest of you?
