@mischievous-thwapling  (making use of this tagging thing, lol :P)

Thank you! I can’t wait to do this and introduce my characters! I think it will help me a lot. And don’t worry about forgetting things! I do it all the time — and I mean ALL the time. And a Russian accent, I think that’s so cool!

The character I will introduce first will be Ahab, aka THE MONGREL from my book. I’ll post about him later. In other words: he’s a bad bad bad BAD guy. Also, do you mind spoilers from my book?

    And… The smiley didn’t work.

Ha, I know! The tags are pretty handy 😛

Lol, nice to know I’m not the only who forgets things 😀 And thanks! I’ve never had a character with an accent, so I thought it’d be a fun change.

Oooh, that sounds awesome!! I’m so excited for you to bring him in! I wouldn’t say Colma’s a good guy either, but I also wouldn’t say she’s a complete bad guy….. It’s complicated.  But I think you’ll get what I mean when I reveal her backstory 😉

    Hmm, that’s a hard question.  I mean, I love your book so much… I don’t know… I think it would be okay!!

Lol, that’s so funny! I think when you’re doing a smiley face in parentheses you have to put space between it and the ending one, like  😀 )  compared with no space ;))  Took me forever to figure that out, lol.  Hope that helped 😛

Your welcome! And I can’t wait to hear Colma’s back story! She sounds like an interesting character. As for spoilers, I like to spoil things 😛 He he. I made my sister nuts when I would spoil a part of the Wingfeather Saga. But I’m glad you like my book that much! And yes! Good to know about the smileys! It irritates me when it doesn’t work. 😀

Thank you!! I really wish I was better at creating complex characters with deep development, though 😉

I know, right?! When I know something someone doesn’t concerning books, movies, or anything, it’s SO hard not to spoil it!!! (most times I do, just a little bit 😛 )

Yeah! I don’t know anyone who wouldn’t love it! Your book is awesome!

Yep, smileys are so much fun, though sometimes I probably overdue them a bit.  But I do that ’cause on the internet, people can’t hear my tone, so it’s harder to portray what I mean, y’know?

    Ahab — aka THE MONGREL

Short telling of my book so you know what I’m talking about: The Mongrels (giant men with giant hounds) have overrun the land of Rondona under the command of THE ONE; who has for second in command Saul, THE GREAT MONGREL, and for third in command Ahab, THE MONGREL. Saul rules in the capital city of Auboron, and Ahab in the smaller city of Haven. THE ONE has his fortress in the Lethal Mounts, where I guess he does nothing but gloat over his power, rage over not finding the Point of Travores (which would give him ultimate power) and laugh evilly.

Now a bit about Ahab: First of all, Saul was the brutish leader of the savages who were tough (and mean) enough to live in the Lethal Mounts. THE ONE chose him for first in command. Ahab was the corrupt general of good king Adrian, who THE ONE could trust and use for third in command (plot twist: THE ONE cannot trust him). Ahab is angry and fuming at Saul, and wishes to kill him so he could rise in power and become the second in command to THE ONE. He feels THE ONE chose unjustly by giving Saul that position when he could have fit it a lot better.

A little more about Ahab: He’s a forty year old brute with a treacherous mind. This guy is not someone to mess with. I drew a small portrait of him, but I don’t know how to post photos (if you couldn’t tell already, I don’t know how to do a lot of things). Ahab is definitely not as huge and ugly as THE GREAT MONGREL, but he is still not someone to get in bodily combat with. Ahab is also a lot smarter than Saul, another reason why he thinks THE ONE was wrong in his choice. Saul uses brute force for most everything, and while he has a brain banging around in his noggin, he often doesn’t use it. Ahab, on the other hand, uses his quite a lot along with his strength.

And some more info: His height? I dunno. He’s tall, at least. And he’s got big muscles. Beard? No. Just a little bit of facial hair. Short hair cut. Dark brown. He actually is a pretty good looking guy, and would look even better if he wasn’t so contorted with thoughts of vengeance and evil. He wears the traditional Mongrel outfit: blood red cape, black plated armor with black vest. Tall black boots. Weapons? Sword and iron ball with points on the end of a chain. He’ll crack your skull with it. Don’t doubt it.

I know, I know…. But here’s some more: He’s got a dog, one of the biggest of the Mongrel hounds. I don’t know if he should name it; he doesn’t seem like that type of guy. But if he has to call it for any reason, he might want a name. So I’ll go with Syrus. His hound’s name is Syrus. And that beast will tear you apart without a second thought. Also, Ahab’s married. His wife is the beautiful but conniving Jezebel (ring a bell; Ahab and Jezebel?). She sometimes helps him work up evil plans. Any other questions? Ask him. Actually, bad decision. Don’t ask him.

I’ll be done: There is probably more I am forgetting, but hey! Y’all probably want me to be done anyway. There has to be more to his character, so that’s why I’m doing this with y’all. You need well developed baddies and goodies for a story, and I desperately need that. So here I am, watch out!

P.S. Did all of this make sense?

    @mischievous-thwapling

    Don’t we all?

And yes! I LOVE to spoil things, but it’s more fun when the person wants to hear it. 😛

And thank you! I’m so glad you like it! 😀

I really need to learn how to make more smileys; because yes, they’re so good for showing if your joking, or laughing, or whatever. Don’t worry about overdoing them, because I’ll probably beat you at that 😛

That was great!! I don’t think you gave us too much info 😀 And ha! Ahab and Jezebel?! They actually talked about them in my church today!! Crazy! But yeah, when I first read the name Ahab I recognized it.  I like how you did that 😉

    Definitely! (about spoiling, I mean)

I know! I suppose you could always experiment,  like try to do a combination :0 Lol, that’s funny 😛

Thank you! I figured that their names were villainous and if people recognized them they would be like, “oh! A bad-guy!” And that’s so cool that they were talked about in your church today! I love how that happens.

Aw, that’s disappointing.  A snail and dinosaur?! Double aw! Well, at least you gained a few emojis, right? 😉

I’ll try to post my first post pretty soon… I just have to write first, lol.  But @this-is-not-an-alien since your character is already in the castle, would you like mine to appear in the library too, or somewhere else in the castle and have them meet up later?
