@ashira @selah-chelyah @valtmy @eden-anderson @samantha-pen @alia (I hope I got everyone’s tags right.)
Hey, I’m finally back! I completely disappeared from the forums just a little while after joining, and I’ve been receiving tags from you all so I thought I’d let you know what happened. (And that I’m back now. 😉 )
Right after I joined, my…[Read more]

@dekreel Highly illogical, huh? Okay, Spock. Yeah, wolves don’t have bobbed hair, so I guess that works. Still, a confusion is that you say you’re a Chasm Beast (see how well I remember? 😉 ) and yet you don’t seem scary in the least.
…ooh, that rhymes.
She says she is a Chasm Beast,
But isn’t scary in the least
And yes, even without her ta…[Read more] -

@seekjustice I couldn’t think of anything to add to what’s already been said, so I followed @princess-foo‘s example and talked to my dad about it. 😉
A couple things I gathered from my conversation with him:
1. An important thing to note is that putting on rebellious plays is not nearly as easy or cool as it sounds, and the logistics of that…[Read more]

@dekreel Hiiiieeee!! Hello! 😛 Yup, I’m here. Sorry it took so long to reply. I kind of disappeared there for a bit. 😮 😉
Ah…oh…hm…your profile picture…
…does not include your tail. How, my friend, am I supposed to remember you are not a wolf if I cannot see your tail?

@seekjustice Weird historical facts? 😛 Hm…
This was the first one I thought of: In 1940s America film star Veronica Lake’s long hair was famous and much imitated. This became a problem for women who worked in machine factories helping the war effort because their hair would get caught in the machinery. The problem was so bad that Ve…[Read more]

@pursuewisdom Whoops! I forgot to reply. 😉
Wow, you’ve seen a lot of Flynn’s films! How many have I seen? Let’s see…I’ve seen Robin Hood, Captain Blood, They Died with Their Boots On, Dodge City, and Santa Fe Trail. (and a hilarious cameo in It’s a Great Feeling in which he spoke no words. 😉 Does a cameo count?) My favorite would pro…[Read more]

@scribbles I think the absolute best way to look for historical accuracy is to “read classics from the actual period they’re set in”! 😀 😀 I love that you said that.
Your WIP sounds really interesting! I love westerns! Have you read any of Zane Grey, William MacLeod Raine, or B.M.Bower? Those were all western authors who lived back aro…[Read more]

@selah-chelyah 😀 I figured something like that was the case. I think I’d recognize you as Ariel’s sister anywhere. You sound a lot like her. 😉 May I ask how near in age you are?
There were two things I was meaning when I mentioned FDR:
One: What was FDR if not a socialist? And what is socialism if not communism dressed up in pretty, at…[Read more]

@selah-chelyah I think you don’t actually disagree with me/us. 😛 I agree with basically everything you said in your last post. Though I might make a few tweaks to your individual arguments, (such as your argument about FDR) your main theme, that the governments have been full of corrupt and immoral people for hundreds of years, is something I d…[Read more]

Have you ever read the book?
Errol Flynn is an amazing actor. Have you seen any of his other films? What other golden era actors do you enjoy?

Thank you! 😛 Carolyn Wells is one of my favorite authors, and I really love that quote. 😉

@samantha-pen Glad you liked it! I have the idea that the American Civil War and the French Revolution were exact opposites. In the Civil War, both sides were right, and you have to decide which side you think was more right and go with that. In the French Revolution both sides were wrong, and the question is which side was least wrong. :P…[Read more]

@seekjustice Two novels…and a novella, and several short stories… 😉
I suppose you’re right, though, that you probably wouldn’t enjoy writing romance novels very much.
I am sure reading your attempts at writing unplanned romance stories/books would be quite entertaining. I know mine would be. 😛

@introcorn Hello, and welcome! What are some of your favorite musicals? I love musicals, but I mostly prefer the older ones from the 30s-60s. How about you?
@seekjustice How could you possibly say you’re not good at writing romance???

@i-david Thank you! I’m glad you liked it. 😀 😀
I have a question, though. You said “Great prose.” And at this time I am very confused as to what exactly “prose” is. *various bewildered faces* I used to think that there were poetry and prose, poetry being with rhythm and prose being normal writing. (At least, that’s the simple exp…[Read more]

One of those was a poem titled “Dumping Sunflowers.” I began to wonder what a poem titled “Dumping Sunflowers” would actually be like, so to satisfy my…[Read more]

You got mine right! 🙂 Alia’s is @therese-play, though.
Glad to have you back again! Sorry your computer did that to you and you could not access…that would drive me crazy if I couldn’t let friends know what was going on, LOL. How are you and your family doing?
Or maybe @theresa-play…
Oh, and I have to tell you something, too…
You have haunted my writing, ruined my orderly notebooks full of precision script (tries not to lose my composure as that is about the last thing from how my notebooks look!), and sidetracked my brain. I’m doing great. Haha, sorry for inadvertently causing confusion in your notebooks. 😛 Actually, my username comes from two actresses I like (not necessarily my favorite actresses, but I just kept trying names until I found one I liked) Rochelle Hudson and Jeanne Crain. So yes, it’s actually from Rochelle. 😉
YAY!! Glad your back! And that’s totally okay that you weren’t able to reply to tags…life happens. 😀
Glad to have you back again! 😀
That is really neat, finding your name and combining theirs like that! How creative…and I really like your penname. 😛
I haven’t been very active on here either, hence replying two months late, but glad you’re here all the same
