Yeah, villains. They can be the hardest to create, but often the most interesting. I may sound like I have a lot of experience, but I don’t. I actually have none, and that is why I am on here, XD
Gracie, those are some great points and I definitely need to go over them with my villains. One of them has a pretty good back…[Read more]

Hey, so I’m ‘new’ here. I was on the forum a long time ago and am just now getting back on… So I decided to join the poetry forum group and… here’s an offering for y’all. I wrote this free verse called ‘Humanity’. It’s really short and simple; any critiques and suggestions for improvement would be appreciated! Thanks y’all!Β Just gonna tag…[Read more]

That’s a really cool story. π It’s almost more like a parable, but maybe not quite that either, since that is more of a story illustrating a lesson. But anyway, great job!
Can I give a few suggestions? If not, it’s totally fine!

Isaac might be able to sling it for a while. I’m thinking that I’ll pull Isaac out soon and replace him with a more… um… human character. He ought to be more useful for Teagan’s development.

Oooh, I like that one a lot.
Thank you! I really like that quote too π And that is so funny about your quote wall! It is actually a really good idea, though — if you want a quote, just pick it off the wall π If you wanted to, you could also make a “book of quotes,” that’s what I did. Hmm… If I had to chose one, I’ll say a drawing I did of the Wingfeather Saga is at the moment one of my faves. But who knows? Maybe a couple of weeks from now I’ll be like, ‘that is NOT good at all.’
And that’s so cool that your mother is an art teacher! π Do you like to draw? I’ve never tried drawing with a pen and quill,…[Read more]

That was beautiful! I really liked it π
I only sketch with pencil, and for the exact same reason: I can’t erase. I’ve never really thought about it that way, though. It’s something to think about and something to try.

Your welcome! π
And if you want to type up some stuff, that would be great! But don’t feel rushed π Writing takes a long while, and I have no clue if I’ll even finish the book I’m working on.
And yeah, a picture book would be so cute!

I just want to say, that was beautiful! What you said is so true, and we all need to remember this. It is such a sweet little story; you ought to make it into a picture book someday!

When Isaac is The Fenrir, he becomes a true assassin. Like the Uruk hai from the Lord of the Rings, he no no longer feels pain or fear. A berserker. Which is why he hates his old self. It is most assuredly effective in the fights he gets into but he losses most all control over himself. At the stage of the book I took him from, he…[Read more]
