@ethryndal Hi and thanks, my wonderful sarcastic elf 😛 INTJs unite!
@sam-kowal *accepts melted chair with gratitude* Currently I’m writing a fantasy book about a land where you can go to schools to become a hero or a villain. My MC is destined to be a villain, but starts to doubt the evil she’s around.

@Ethryndal one can only ever take the next step…
*coughs* Sorry. That was a perfect comeback but you won’t get it because you haven’t even got there yet. You’ll just have to take my word that it was perfect.
@Sam-Kowal *poke* See? See what I did there? Isn’t it perfect? XD

@ethryndal When people start using weather phenomena as exclamations and talking about ‘Shards’ then you know they’ve been pulled in.
*coughs*
A lot of people have been pulled in I think…

@Sam-Kowal none. It comes of being her writing ‘mentor’ and the sister of her absolute best friend in the entire world. XD For your information… the painting was very impressive.

@kate storms. That is cool. How many pieces of your soul do you have to sell to get a painting of yourself by @ethryndal?
@ethryndal XD okay, thanks. Don’t ask me why I said graduate school. Something with the expression that impressed itself on me…

@Ethryndal nah… nothing that cool unfortunately. Just a fancy way of saying I have tons of dreams, ideas, theories, and inspirations, but am too lazy to chase them all. XD

Kate replied to the topic What does it look like for God to be alive in your story? in the forum Themes 8 years, 2 months ago
@Daeus-Lamb @Ethryndal great point about the author’s walk with Christ seeping over into their work. As far as I’ve observed that’s definitely true, but I hadn’t thought about it in so many words.
So to me, God is alive in a story when the story points people beyond the surface and leaves them thoughtful and wondering. Even if God is not…

@Sam-Kowal ha! *chuckles* That picture was actually taken by my sister for a certain *coughs* @ethryndal who wanted to paint a picture of me as an elf, because we have an inside joke going on about Galadriel, Luthien, and other sundry elvish things, and the said Ethryndal is also a fantastic artist. XD
Very observant. 😉

*bites lip* *raises hand shyly* I… kind of do. I really like copying things, especially flowers. And I love drawing geometric designs, 2D and 3D. Sometimes I attempt people. The faces… never work. 😛 But thanks to a very helpful post on the blog of @ethryndal, hopefully I can make some improvements soon! 😀
I’ll put a picture or two on here soon. 🙂

@ethryndal maybe we can just have a civil war to figure it out. Although I think everyone’s leaning towards ‘Emberlings’
