Cool, thanks for the links! I’m definitely going to look into the functions more.
That’s so interesting! I’ll keep that in mind. Thanks!
😂 Don’t worry, I get what you’re saying, so it doesn’t sound terrible. Haha!
Ohh that makes so much sense! I didn’t think of it that way, but it totally makes sense.

Hi Corine!
I love your view of romance! That’s incredibly beautiful.
I love reading romance, mostly Historical romance. Historical romance is beautiful to me because it captures the beauty of something we’re losing today: Chivalry. I think chivalry is very important and there’s so little of it left in our culture today. People dont…[Read more]

Hmm, I can’t find that article… Can you link to it please?
Thank you so much for the advises!
You can even write a story that just brightens someone’s day or reenergizes them
Well, if it’s everything I’ve done, so I just sent the reader to Hell reenergized…

Thank you for your input. I agree with using the same God and Holy Spirit; my issue is more how to portay Jesus. I don’t agree with neglecting the death and resurrection, as that is what redeems us.
Now, while my tale isn’t about the death and resurrection, if I want it to have Christianity, at some point the “Jesus figure” would’ve had…[Read more]

@sarah-inkdragon I love that you brought up the perspectives on wars—that’s definitely a whole facet of representation. And while I take very definite sides in both those wars (actually, in every war we’ve been in), glorification and over-simplification of war are, and will probably always be, big problems in books. That’s something that needs t…[Read more]

@corine I personally don’t think it’s a problem to write disabled people when you don’t have the disability. You should definitely do your research thoroughly, though. I’ve taken ASL 1 and 2 and learned many interesting things about modern-day Deaf culture, as well as watched and read things that make deafness and some of the details of it easier…[Read more]

I certainly don’t mind you responding. One can never have to much good advise. 😀
I have found that my main female character is an introvert and the male lead is an extrovert. Should make for an interesting dynamic, haha. I’ve yet to take the test for the side characters, but I will soon. (Wish me luck 😉 )

Knowing your characters is a good thing, but not always the easiest of missions to accomplish.
I know there’s no “perfect” list of ‘how to’s’ in writing. But there are times I wish there were. I tend to distrust my own instincts and…talent? (Does that sound stupid and vain?) I want other people’s opinions, yet I’m to sacred to ask f…[Read more]

I just took the test for my two protagonists, and it was surprisingly difficult and accurate. I’d never tried to get inside the mind of my characters that deeply before and it was eye opening, to say the least. I still need to do it twice more, which should be interesting. I’ll let you know how it goes. 🙂
I am curious, (and feel fre…[Read more]
