Yes! It does complicate the plot; which is actually something I always need 😛

Never seen Jurassic Park, but that reference is totally right!

      Exactly! Thanks for understanding 😉

(I’m just skipping from topic to topic ^)

*She was woken from her dream (she was saying this really weird thing: “He that falls in love with himself will have no rivals;” and then, as the pirate binocular maniac barreled toward her, she blurted out, “Love your Enemies, for they tell you your Faults” — which was, in this case, her clumsiness — just before he cracked the binoculars over her head as they turned into eggs and rolled down her cheeks….) “EWWW! OWWW!” White ick was actually rolling down her cheeks — and then she got a sharp peck in her nose from a large, white, aerial sea-bird with an orange beak. She grabbed him by the neck with an indian war cry and pinned him on the deck. Using her shirt sleeve to wipe the white goop off of her face, she examined the bird with curiosity, and then realized just in time that he was choking. She gently released him and put an ear to his chest. “Oh, phew. You’re heart is still beating. Wow, you have a fast heart beat.” Then she scratched her head and watched him as the bird got up and wobbled about the roof of the ship. She realized he was wobbling because he had something on his leg…. it was a note. She lunged toward him, grabbed the paper, and then hugged the bird to her chest so he wouldn’t escape. She raced through the letter, then scribbled an awkward answer (it’s hard to write when holding a squirming bird in your lap and your pencil tip keeps breaking), attached it to his leg, and threw him into the air. The seagull flew several yards before promptly dropping out of the sky and onto the ships deck below with a thud. She carefully crawled to the edge of the roof and grimaced when she saw that the bird hadn’t landed on the deck, but on the head of the binocular-pirate-guy. They fellow screamed and chased the gull off of the ship. She watched in satisfaction as the bird clumsily rose into the air and flew back toward the mainland….. as she scrambled out of site*

Wow, that was really weird and really stupid XD You don’t have to respond to that either, lol.

Quoting you here for my weird story above 😛

And yes!! Whenever I’m on, it can be hard responding the the fifty things I’m involved in, hah

      Very much so. 😉

*She lay on her back, letting her legs dangle in the salty waves.  Suddenly, a thump next to her head made her sit up so hastily that she felt woozy.  It was the same seagull.  It looked scandalized, annoyed, and half dead.  It flopped to the deck and seemed as if it had lost the will to live.  She hastily scrambled forwards, ripped a note off its leg, then screamed with joy when she realized it was from Wingiby Iggiby.  She delightedly read it and jotted down a response.  Taking pity on the poor bird, she crept towards the edge of the dock, snuck up on another sleeping seagull, grabbed it by the neck, wrestled with it for roughly fifteen minutes, then tied her note to its leg.  Then she chucked the squawking (it definitely didn’t take me ten times to spell that right)  bird into the air with a whoop of happiness.  She picked up the original bird, gave it an ice cream cone, then went back to sitting at the edge of the dock, swinging her legs and happily sharing ice cream with the bird, which seemed surprisingly  content to do so.*

Lol, again, you don’t have to respond. 😛

First of all, I have immensely enjoyed all of your descriptive good-byes.

Second, I don’t know that I really have the time to commit to actively writing in this awesome role play. 🙁 Is it okay if I don’t have a character but still read and make comments/suggestions occasionally?

Also, you are not the only one who struggles to keep track of who’s who, @kylie-wingfeather. Great idea listing everyone!

While Janner disagreed with Larnik about how Larnik was treating his sister, Kalmar started to sniff deeply, but instantly stopped, his face burning red. Even if he was a human boy again, some habits were hard to break.

With a side-ways glance at his brother, Kalmar slunk off towards the desserts table, where the wedding cake patiently waited to be cut. Everyone was still sweeping back and forth on the dance floor, so it was forgotten. He edged nearer to the towering cake and eyed its flowery frosting, wondering what flavor it was.  Nobody would notice if he swiped a little glob…

Just as he was stretching his finger out, a soft, reprimanding voice said from behind him, “What are you doing, Kal?”

Kalmar guiltily whirled around, finger still in mid-air. “Just examining the… quality of the cake, Leeli,” he explained innocently, looking at his little sister.

She giggled. “Come on, Kal! Can’t you wait until the cake’s been cut?” she asked in a teasing voice. “Then you can enjoy as much cake as will fit into you.”

Kalmar grinned. “That would be the whole thing!”

“Kalmar! Leeli!” Nia’s voice rang across to their ears.

Kalmar hurried over to his mother, Leeli hot on his heels. “Yes, Mama?”

“Why don’ t you play with your brother until it’s time for cake?” she asked, and from the gleam in her eyes, Kalmar knew she had seen him prowling near the desserts. But instead of looking angry, her expression was one of mixed amusement and loving annoyance.

“Yes, Mama,” Kalmar said. He called to Leeli, and the two raced off together, searching for Janner while half-playing some sort of version of tag.

But as they skirted around the dance floor, they passed Artham and Arundelle, who were dancing together.

“…We’re going to have a child,” Arundelle was telling Kalmar’s uncle.

As if  about to run into a brick wall, Kalmar skidded to a stop and stared at them. “Leeli,” he whispered, “I think we’re about to have a cousin!”

Are you still with us? Are you still Leeli? If so, you wanted her to have no crutch, right?

“Leeli,” someone whispered loudly. “I think we’re about to have a cousin!”

Arundelle exchanged a glance with her husband. It could only be one person. “Kal,” they said in unison, and laughed. Artham led her to the edge of the dance floor, where Kal – the boy, not the wolf – leaned against a tree, obviously trying to appear casual.

“I didn’t mean to eavesdrop!” Kalmar burst out as soon as he saw his aunt and uncle headed straight for him. “Really! I just… uh… overheard!”

Arundelle fought back a laugh. “We don’t mind. But you have to keep this a secret from your brother and mother, alright? We’re going to surprise them.”

“When is it going to be born?” Leeli asked, eyes wide with excitement. She hummed a little and bobbed her head; Arundelle could tell the Song Maiden was already composing a tune for her new cousin.

“Around Janner’s birthday, we think,” Artham replied, his strong voice quiet.

                        “Cool!” Kal exclaimed.

Arundelle studied him. He was a fine looking boy, with black hair and eyes as blue as Esben’s had been. But something seemed off… oh, yes. “Kal,” she began, knowing her tone was both suspicious and choked with laughter. “Were you eating the cake?”

                        “Uh…”

Arundelle let her laugh ring out. Caring for her nephews and niece would certainly be good practice for being a parent herself, one day.

                        Soon.

The baby kicked, and Arundelle nearly melted with joy. She wasn’t a tree, she was a human. She wasn’t broken, she was whole. She wasn’t alone anymore. She had a family.

                        That was when someone screamed.

                        ————————————————————————-

Tagging whoever! Honestly I have no idea why anyone screamed – it could be anything as trivial as someone getting scared because someone else jumped out at them or Symian pirates attacking or those cloven that didn’t follow Kal getting into Ban Rona (that’s where we are, right?). *shrugs* IDC. 🙂

Like I said on the Cullings collab story (I’m too lazy to look up the thread’s exact title, though it probably would’ve taken me the same amount of time it took to write this), I gtg, but I will delight over your ideas/suggest which one I think we should do as soon as possible. 😉

Okay… Why did someone scream? Hmmm…

I know! And this helps with keeping the Wingfeathers in the Hollows! So, without further ado…

It’s raining! Okay, yes I know it’s not the best reason ever, buuttt, if the storm is bad enough, it can keep the Wingfeathers in Hollows for several days and they could possibly stay with the Bronins until it clears up, and by then we could have them find out that something/someone (we never did decide what bad thing was going to happen) is planning… something.

                                On a different topic…

Sara jumped back when the girl fell from the tree. “Are you okay?..” The girl groaned, beginning to get up. She stiffened and screamed, scrambling away from a small spider. “Oh dear.. I’m sorry if I startled you. I’m Sara,” she introduced, offering a hand to the girl to help her up
