@wordsmith *shakes head* But see… Prehaps what I’m saying is since I have no expectations (or do I? That’s curious..), I cannot be “disappointed.” No matter the outcome. And if I have no expectations, something being unexpected might as well be expected, since I do not expect. For example. Suppose I found a seed. A random seed, in a random pl…[Read more]

@wordsmith Ah, but see… I expected the unexpected, which, as you said, becomes the expected. Which then means I’m expecting the expected. So I’m actually expecting both the expected and unexpected. BUT! Since the expected becomes the unexpected, I am ALSO UN-expecting both the expected and unexpected.

@wordsmith Right. Because you munch them instead. But… Always expect the unexpected 😀

@wordsmith Hey, welcome back! 😀
I’m working on a new story idea right now, actually. This time around I’m using third person, and it’s going surprisingly well. I’ll try to post something tomorrow.

You may not see this, and that’s fine, but I was scrolling through the different threads looking for something (anybody know where that thread went that I saw the other day about NaNa this year?? Not the one about 2019 NaNa buddies or whatever. I think there was a different one), and happened across this. Just wanted to say that I…[Read more]

I saw that no Rillumen members had responded yet so I thought I’d go ahead and tag y’all just in case anyone missed it.
I’ve spent moke time baking so far this week than writing.¯_(ツ)_/¯ I will definitely try to wring a couple of hundred words out of tonight though. Does anyone have a word goal for this week?…[Read more]

@corkybookworm @ariella-newheart Thanks, guys! I can’t wait to hear what you think of it. 🙂 I’m thinking about editing it some more and self-publishing it after I finish posting all of the chapters, so any critique you could give me would be great.
@wordsmith I understand. Sadly, there’s only so much a person can do in one day.

Moonwatcher, my poor little serial story that I’ve been posting over on my blog, has been begging me to find more readers for it recently. So, since, you all like to read, who better to ask! Moonwatcher is a YA mishmash of sci-fi and dystopian with a healthy dose of action thrown in. If you’re interested, here’s the link to the first chapter and…[Read more]

@w-o-holmes “I’m not pushing this in your face and telling and demanding that you are very wrong and all that.” *nods* No, no. I get it. And perhaps I am wrong, and/or don’t understand completely what I’ve been taught by my parents and all. And I will try my best to not turn this into a full-fledged argument 😛 But I would like to know what you…[Read more]

Thank you for your comment about my description. I appreciate that. And to all your comments… the validation and help with typoes.
You’re very welcome. 🙂
I just want to send a little comfort your ways saying that we do need introverts.
True. Sometimes I forget that. It’s a stigma of equating introversion with social awkwardness. We d…[Read more]

@w-o-holmes Ooh… I will contribute, as well. But seeing as it is 10:30, and Mama has told me to go to bed twice now, I will post a couple couplets tomorrow, if I can get a break from schoolwork and visiting with grandparents 😀
@wordsmith I haven’t read all three pages of this thread so I dunno if you’ve already seen this and contributed, but…[Read more]

@wordsmith Yeah, I call myself an extroverted introvert. I can pass for extroverted if I try hard enough. 😛
A plotter? I suppose I would consider myself a plotter. I like weaving conspiracies and intrigue into my books to keep the readers on their toes. 😉

I’m Ariella, as you can probably tell. *squints at nametag* Unfortunately I don’t have Facebook either, but reading your introduction paragraph made me want to be a part of whatever is going on here. 😛 Here’s my resume: INFJ (meaning I make extroverted energy for other people to use), illustrator,…[Read more]

Here’s another poem I wrote a long time ago… This one was actually last December when I was awake late one night and pretty much emotionally exhausted so… It’s a little depressing.
But go ahead and give critique (which I don’t know how to do with poetry) if you’d like!!

Hey, guys, I’ve an idea: to write a series of poems that evoke feelings within people. (Don’t laugh). Meaning basically this: you read a poem about, say, bread; and it makes you want a slice of bread with a great dripping of the tongue. Now it can be of food, yes. But also of other…[Read more]
