@the-inkspiller he is more outwardly nervous at times when he sees things that might suggest they have found him. For example, he gets very frightened when a few papers get moved from their places during the night. He is the sort of person to try to laugh it off to others but it is obvious that he is scared. He always had his battered silver…[Read more]

@the-inkspiller, He is an older man, living in a manor in the country in NY. He spent some time in Africa, where his wife died, and after that he went to India, where he stayed a number of years. While he was there he went undercover is a Voodoo cult to recover the gem that held his wife’s soul. Ted Scott is his son, but Ted doesn’t know this when…[Read more]

Ok, yeah that’s the opposite of ram’s horns. It looks a bit odd… Is it a big deal if I change it?

Ok, a quick question about Myrrha. I’m sure you’ve said this before, but do you want her horns facing the opposite way that ram’s horns do? That’s the impression I got from what you said.

@the-inkspiller, here is some more description for my characters: Theodore Scott, the 22 year old private secretary; He is a tall, thin man with light brown hair. His face is thicker than you would think it would be because he is fairly skinny. He has no facial hair. Cyril Drake/Scott; here is an excerpt from my short story: “A man of medium build…[Read more]

Haha, making a non-murder mystery compelling could be a challenge. But I’m determined to give it a try. 😂 I still want to write a murder mystery in the future, but maybe center it more on the mystery itself than on the characters.
Yes, I agree wholeheartedly with your view of the Lord’s Supper. Especially today, people tend to…[Read more]

@the-inkspiller, I have 3 different characters you can choose from, I have a 22 year old secretary, a 55 year old man and a creature that resembles a human with a few differences. You can take your pick of any.
I take it you like turtles? So do I! -

@rusted-knight – Haha, that’s a really good idea! I just might be able to use it…thanks so much for the help!
@the-inkspiller – Aaah, thank you, that was incredibly helpful!
You’re right, my battle is more like an epic scale military confrontation. I confess I’m rather plot-orientated, so I hadn’t given much thought to what the characters…[Read more]

Okay. I’ll see if I can find some of your character descriptions. Are they a couple pages back?
I love how you did @the-inkspiller ‘s countess. Really good.👍
So, Amerlee Whistler is about 20, fairly tall, and has fine features. She has white-blond hair (which she probably wears mostly down), and eyes that are probably somewhere…[Read more]

Glad you like it! I haven’t been doing digital art for very long at all, so I’m still getting the hang of it. I’m used to drawing in pencil too.
…And the pressure for drawing Myrrha builds. 😆 Hopefully I won’t fail miserably.

*crosses fingers* I hope you like how the Countess turned out!! I didn’t end up tackling a full body costume design, but I had fun with her earrings and hair.

Gotcha, I’ll try to dress her up like she’s on her way to the court of her nemesis and long-lost crush. 😂
I was originally planning on making my 20s story a murder mystery, but with the tragic backstory of Jean, I felt like it would be too much. So now I’m trying to rework the entire plot. 😒 I don’t want to shy away from the…[Read more]

Haha, I promise I had no clue about the origins of Middle Earth until my brother mentioned it just the other day… I was like “Oh no, now people will think I’m copying Tolkien!” Annnd, that’s what happened, lol. Ooh, so cool! I like your art style even more now. 👌 Especially how you add the darker background for dimension. You did a great job of capturing their personalities! Thanks again!!Also, I am working on the countess right now. Does she wear any rouge/lipstick/makeup? Is her face pale?

Yep, it’s a catch-22 with research vs brainstorming. XD I guess we writers just can’t escape the more tedious side of things. Not to mention plotting, character development, and outlining. *gets tired just thinking about it all*

Glad the description helped! And thanks for the compliment… I wouldn’t necessarily say I studied evocative prose, but maybe all the books I read rubbed off somehow. 😆 I haven’t posted any of that story on here. It’s still in the works as far as plot goes. Mainly because I decided I needed to include some sort of religion. That…[Read more]
