The Fledgling Artist

@the-fledgling-artist

Haha, I’m not very shy about sharing my stuff XD. I like showing people all my adorable characters. 😉 Thank you!

@eden-anderson

*grins*

Thanks!

Those two are my darlings. XD The guy is terribly shy(and it’s adorable to write) and the girl a mother hen with a nice arm, if you know what I mean. I’m a terrible shipper when…[Read more]

Well, the ending can be happy. It just can’t be like, “And they beat the villain now everything shall be happiness and flowers and nothing bad will ever happen again and the world is perfect.” I prefer more like, “And they beat the villain and now their lives will return to as normal as possible after going on an epic…[Read more]

Mm. I do enjoy The Inheritance Cycle, but I wouldn’t say it’s necessarily a five-star read. There’s a lot of worldbuilding and lore included–which is fine, just something to be aware of if you’re usually into more character-based books–and I actually wasn’t that big a fan of Eragon himself. I didn’t dislike him as…[Read more]

@the-fledgling-artist Yes, I love making cards!  but we moved several states away a few months ago, so I dont have much cardmaking stuff here. 😀

@kjames0813

I’m glad you came! And don’t worry, there are still plenty of new ways to write fantasy. So if you’re ever in need of inspiration or ideas on how to make your fantasy world or story unique, feel free to ask me! I love helping people out with writing in pretty much any genre, actually. Contemporary, speculative, fantasy, steampunk,…[Read more]

@the-fledgling-artist I don’t have an account, so I can’t offer much advice! But I do know that if you want your posts to be seen, or build a community, it takes a lot of work. Using all of the popular hashtags, commenting on other’s pages, and posting frequently helps a lot. 🙂

@slisby @moonink @the-fledgling-artist It’s funny how we all feel that way! Kinda nice to know there are so many similar thinkers around.

😉

Luckily, I’ve never seriously been asked to teach someone, (except for little cousins, and such). I’m not really sure how I’d respond if I was. But, I’d probably just suggest they look up some videos, or…[Read more]

@kr-lalonde Active? Varies, but that’s the responsibility of everyone on it to keep it so. Open? Always. There’s no reason why it wouldn’t be.

@the-fledgling-artist Not really, to be honest. I have very little to show for two-and-a-half-years of writing. But this is that little, so… yeah.

@eden-anderson Short story. Not much to it, I’m afraid.

@the-fledgling-artist

WOW!!! The finished product is so beautiful! I love it!

Uhhh, yeah my sisters and I got a little carried away sometimes 😉…like we would spend whole afternoons together just making cards.

@libby

(Also, I apologize for the awful formatting of my previous post… probably not worth reading now, haha.)

@the-fledgling-artist I buy my stamps from Hobby Lobby, which is my favorite store of all time. 😉

Then I also have some that were gifted to me… I’m not sure where they are from.

@eden-anderson A whole room just for cardmaking??? 😮 Can I come?? *giving you the begging look*

Um… yes!

I love making cards so much, you guys!

@the-fledgling-artist I don’t carve stamps, but that sounds amazing!  I’d love to see some sometime!

@evelyn I second Eden!  Please!

I typically use scrapbook paper and I hand write my letters.  That’s incredible fun, especially with gel pens and special writing utensils. 🙂  I also rec…[Read more]

Me and my sisters used to be huge into card making…in fact we had a room designated just for making cards. I haven’t done as much recently, but I hope to do some for this Christmas.

Wow! That’s so cool that you make your own stamps!!!!

I usually buy mine at Hobby Lobby or Goodwill. You can…[Read more]
