@dekreel I’ll be doing it! Somehow it falls that I’ll be starting a new project, but there’s no obligation to that project, just the word count, or pages, that you put down (and even that can change in the middle of the month if you decide it’s too much!)

@ashira I think it’s for everyone. π But I don’t think Story Embers had any writers’ corners so we’re just making one here.
@everyone
And don’t fear to tag me. I hope to do this a bit more. I won’t be around during the day unless it’s Saturday. I may be around evenings though EST. π

@dekreel *whispers* I know it’s been forever since I’ve gotten here but we’ll say there was a bit of turbulence on the flight.
I LOVE THE ARMAYAS PIC. His hair is perfect. Thank you so much for taking the time to draw him. <3

@gabriellepollack I vote that it should be for story / character inspiration. A thousand writers’ piling their ideas in one spot sounds like an amazing source of inspiration.
ie. the holy grail.

@hope-ann XD Thanks for your input. Really though, your boards are amazing. But I guess that’s what happens when you save what you like. I think I’ll do the same.
@r-m-archer Awesome! Thank you! π
@sarah-inkdragon Right. That makes sense; I’m just going to keep the less organized boards private. Nobody sees, nobody knows what the state of the…[Read more]

@kate Awesome! You’ll have to let me know how the Indie publishing goes. My iron dragon heart is beginning to less appreciate these rejections. :/
@i-david Thanks for the welcome! Yeah, just finished my fifth novel. π And I’d love to share my stories. Really, I want the whole world to read them. The thing is… they’re like 80k – 100k each and…[Read more]

@sarah-inkdragon Okay cool! Thanks for the input. I definitely need to take the time to organize them a bit more instead of just picking out the amazing pics. Lol. But that’s pinterest for you…
Now to drag @hope-ann over here….
Thanks! Your now being followed by a chair-melting dragon. *grins*

Hello friends!
(Look, I’m actually on here within a week… or two???) Who knows?
Okay, so I just got a pinterest account (Yay!) Honestly, it’s addicting. How many writing hours am I going to waste on there? *sets timer* Anyway, I do want to use it partially as a writer platform, so if you want to follow me on there, that would be a huge help (I…[Read more]

@h-jones Ahhh yes, phones are definitely a target. ‘Eyyyy NTJness. (I don’t get it that much either. I basically just know who my characters are and who I am.)
@ashira *melts chair*
@seekjustice Well, hey stranger. *melts stools and any backup chairs you may have* Yep. I used to be an ENFJ. I could be all of the types, who knows? *squints*…[Read more]

@the-fledgling-artist *melts chairs* Thank you. I am muchly satisfied. π
And it’s not necessarily finding the publisher that’s the problem. It’s finding a literary agent. Technically, you can’t send your book to publishers because that would be ‘unsolicited’ and most publishing houses only accept represented books. Finding an agent, then, is my…[Read more]

@daeus-lamb Good to see you too! π
Well, I haven’t exactly written anything for this book yet. Mainly, I’m trying to figure out why it feels contrived before I write it.
My problem child right now is the villain. Because I didn’t thoroughly plan his motivations in the first book, he’s coming across as flat in the second book. So, I did a ton of…[Read more]
