Ebm7 = E flat minor seven.

F#maj7 = F sharp major seven.

Before I get too carried away, one thing I would really like to know: is there too much music theory?

If everyone could just tell me yes or no on that one, it would help me a lot.

I imagine it needs some sensory details added. Also, I kind of skipped over the regret part. We either need to add that in, or completely eradicate all traces of it. And I think I may have left a few traces.

I was thinking maybe a military type parachute jump, but I don’t know anything about that, so that’s probably not a good idea. What’s something that he would be nervous/scared to do the night before, and could possibly lead to guilt about his wife’s death?

To throw a combination of ideas out there, what if we had a character who has a major event coming up, and he’s scared he’s going to fail. He dreams about doing it (you know, how we all dream about upcoming things we’re stressed about) but in the dream, his wife or someone else who he misses joins him and helps him succeed.
