The toy-designer could be fine. I feel like it lacks any serious emotional kick though.

A few ideas for our pianist… he’s deaf/blind/mute/crippled… he literally left his wife/family for his career, and the day before what should have been the crowning performance of his life he’s in an accident and has a vision/dream while he’s hospitalized… he had an older brother who was a musical genius but got leukemia and couldn’t accomplish his dreams, so he as the little brother sacrificed his life to fulfilling his brother’s dream for him, but the brother died the day before the big performance and the little brother is left on his own…
