Oooh, I love the concert pianist idea! And I vote for it being his wife.

@corissa Your idea just there… it just melted my heart, about how he learned piano just for his wife, only for it to spiral into regret… I want to build off that to suggest that the guilt makes him absolutely lose his focus, so he couldn’t play it properly before she died, and he hasn’t been able to be successful since. Perhaps he could either dream about his upcoming performance being an absolute failure, or he could dream about success, but it is only success that he can find in his dream, and because she is there with him.

This is getting to be pretty cool guys 😀
