@piperbee Nice to meet you. 🙂 Congratulations on your first professional edit! I’ve had a line editor before, but not a developmental one. What’s it like?

@piperbee Yes! This is a staple for a healthy day.
We need God in our lives. That doesn’t mean we have to copy someone else’s template for when and where we pray and read the Word, but it does mean we should make some sort of connection with our Lord. I find I’m more self-centered when I skip a day of study and don’t check in with God.

@msqueen8 thanks, that’s great advice! I’ve prayed for it generally, but never before anticipated conversations. That’s a really good idea.
@piperbee first of all, welcome to New Wessex! I don’t believe we’ve officially met. 😉 And yes, that’s definitely another big one. It can be hard to realize God can use you just as you are, before you’ve…[Read more]

Hi lovely Saxon Scribes. ‘Tis I, emerging from hyperspace like the Millenium Falcon with a blown hyperdrive and three dozen Tie-fighters on her tail.
Have I been watching The Force Awakens? Yes I have.
Seeing as this month’s theme is writing lifestyle, I thought this would be a great time to have a Mutual Encouragement Moment. We all have…[Read more]
