@noodle-mum Oooh, that’s really cool. Your WIP premise sounds amazing, particularly since the objects of the quest draw from the various character arcs. 😀
My writing mostly stays within realistic fiction or adventure (like medieval worlds). Common themes I write about have been friendship and relating rightly to the people around us, and of…[Read more]

@noodle-mum Well hello there! I’ve only just met you, but you share my opinions on pineapples and pizza, and therefore, I think I’m going to like you. 😉
So, uh… what’s the story behind your username? It intrigues me.

@noodle-mum WELCOME, Alli!! So glad your here!
Are you a reader? What are some of your favorite books? And pineapple on pizza? Yay or nay? 😜 (That last question was really random but it gets tiresome always asking the same questions after awhile. 🙃)

@noodle-mum Hey there, Alli! Welcome to New Wessex!
I’m Grace, and as for how I’m doing… life is pretty busy, especially in the summer when I have a lot of volunteering/camps to be involved in. I thought I would have more time to write, but I’m afraid not.
What kind of things do you write?

@noodle-mum Everyone already gave great answers. I would say rewrite your story’s outline on paper, writing in where you need to add scenes. Your plan of rewriting the draft with the original open as an outline would probably how I would personally go about it.

@noodle-mum Ooooh. I am doing almost exactly what you’re doing! (Thanks for tagging me, @selah-chelyah)
The way I personally would suggest writing in, is as follows…
1. Write out a super detailed synopsis. (I personally prefer handwritten) A brand new one with alllll of the details. Include all of your information here.
2. Open your original…[Read more]

@noodle-mum Thank you! Yours sounds very interesting as well.
And it doesn’t matter. 3,000 words is still 3,000 words. 😀 Great job! *throws confetti*

@noodle-mum I guess, my situation is a little different, I wrote about one fourth of my first draft before I realized I needed to tell the story differently, and started over, transferring what I had from 3rd person to various 1st person. Now I’ve caught up and need to step back and figure out where I want the rest of the story to go. I ended up…[Read more]

I would say yeah, just do what you laid out to do. I’m currently in the middle of that process in one of my WIPs. I have the old draft laid out, but it’s just my base outline now to change/add/remove things as I progress through basically the same story, but hopefully a better journey getting there.
As far as feeling daunted, I…[Read more]

@nuetrobolt So a soulmate could be the same as a best friend, but I think of it more as like the person you’re destined to meet and fall in love with and who is THE ONE kinda.
Would you rather be born in the winter or in the summer?
Lucas: Winter. I love the cold. Aaaand also that’s when I was actually born.
Hazel: Summer! 😀
Kiel:…[Read more]
